I opened my eyes and softly jumped as Kat was awake, sitting up her back was to me and I heard her crying softly. "K-Kat?" I asked, tilting up and pulling her to me, turning around she just stared at me. "Kitty?" I asked, really worried.

"What...?" She whispered, almost inaudible, silent. She wasn't touching my at all.. If anything she was distant. I looked at her hurt suddenly and whispered, "what's wrong..?" She suddenly bursted out crying and clung to me.

I knew that putting my hurt in the way of comforting her was wrong at the moment. I needed comfort, she needed it too, so why not go ahead and do it while we both needed it? Putting my arms around her I tucked her head into my neck/ shoulder and "shhhed" her softly.

I waited til she wasn't crying anymore to pull away softly. "What's wrong babe?" I asked softly. "We're distant." Kat sighed softly. "I understand you're alpha and you need time for the pack. But Caleb, we haven't talked since Wednesday.. And before that? Not til Sunday night we we said goodnight. We didn't even tell each other we love each other. We're practically strangers now. You haven't spent time with the kids either." She whispered. I felt betrayed, so I pushed her away from me and got out of bed. I instantly regretted it when her eyes watered. "Babe.. Wait." "No... I'm just going to leave for a few days. The kids are going too."

She got up before I had the chance to stop her and went in the bathroom. "Kat?"I asked softly through the door but there was no answer. I walked off slowly, sighing as I blamed myself.

I heard as his footsteps had lightened up and he had walked off. Sliding down the door I cried hard, sobbing. I felt so unloved. Hoping in the shower I washed up and pulled my hair into a messy bun as I noticed it was getting longer. I packed my things and as I zipped up my suitcase, Caleb walked in. He sped walked to me. "Please.. You don't have to do this." He cried out. I noticed he was in pain, but I couldn't hold him. I couldn't even look at him the same way after what he did..

Finally looking at him I kissed his forehead. "I have to baby. It doesn't mean I don't love you." I stated. "But we've grown to far apart. And I think its the best thing to do." I finished, my eyes tearing up. I grabbed my suitcase and Caleb grabbed my arm. "Please.. I didn't mean to! Don't leave me!" He screamed but I let his arm lose grip from mine. "I'm sorry." And I walked away...
