Sitting in the pups room, they were now 2 years old. Both Jaxton and Victoria had their birthday today. They would be 2 obviously..! I ran my hands through my hair. Jaxton had been teasing Victoria lately. I knew it wasnt good at all. I needed to teach him how to be respectful.

Katherine had been really grouchy lately. I was stressed out beyond words and had no explanation to what it could be. "Baby?" Katherine whispered, caressing my cheek. I snapped back to reality and nodded, looking into my mates eyes.

"Yes kitten?" I replied short, feeling overwhelmingly tired. It was only 5:30 am. She had been up all,night in and out of the bathroom with a stomach ache and vomiting. "What is it?" She asked, knowing and sensing something was wrong with her mate.

"Have I been failing you and the kids lately? I mean Jaxton has been teasing Victoria lately, and you've been different. More irritable lately. What am I doing wrong?" Kat's eyes suddenly fell. "Caleb, I didn't mean to make you feel like you were failing us."

I lifted her chin when she dropped her gaze. "You're not failing us. I-Ive been more irritable because i-i have missed my period. I'm a month late and I'm scared that I may be pregnant again. I-I didn't want to worry you. And as for Jaxton, he is 1 about to be two, same for Victoria. They are just little. They don't know what to do yet."

Kat finished off, making it feel like some heavy weight had been lifted off my shoulders. "Oh.." Was all I could say. I suddenly regretted it when I remembered she said she might be pregnant. Now she'd think I was unhappy about it.

"I think we should go to the nurse to.or row. My parents can babysit. Then we can just spend the rest of the day and night together. A small break for mama bear." Caleb smiled at his mate, feeling suddenly not so tired anymore. Could he have another kid on the way?

"Baby, we should go to sleep. We have the party later today and then we can just spend tomorrow together. Just you and me, sound like a deal?" She asked, hesitantly. "Of course. Sounds good."

Rolling over back on the bed,kat climbed in beside me and I brought her to me. Having her close to me made me feel better, and I felt our wolves cuddling to. Her wolf was purring in satisfaction and love,and it showed on Katherine's face when she was smiling. "I don't feel so sick anymore actually." She muttered rolling over. I chuckled and started to rub her belly, sensing something.

Brushing it off I realized my mate was moaning to my touch, not in a "oh god lets fuck" type of way, but one of "this is so relaxing it feels good" type of way. I grinned and kept rubbing her stomach until my mate was sound asleep. I yawned for the first time and my eyes got heavy.

"I love you kitten, and that will never change baby." And I kissed her cheek. Covering us up and making sure she was warm enough, I closed my eyes, falling into a peaceful sleep for once in about a half a year. That changes with kids, but I wouldn't take it back for the world.
