Part 5

Cara's POV:
It felt like he's been keeping me here forever, but I knew it had only been a day or so. The guy in the hood hadn't returned since the first time he talked to me. He sent some other guy to untie me, but the door was locked from the outside so I couldn't get out. All of a sudden, the door swung open and the guy in the hood walked in. I got up and ran to the far side of the room.
"Oh come on," he said as he rolled his eyes, "if I really wanted to hurt you I would have done it already." He beckoned for me to come closer.
"What do you want," I snarled at him.
"Your friend Quinn didn't buy the story about a family emergency," he said as he started pacing in front of me, "I think we need to give her some reassurance." He threw a phone at me, and Quinn's contact was pulled up on the screen.
"You're gonna call her and tell her everything's alright, that she doesn't need to worry," he said, walking towards me.
"And if I don't?" I asked. He pulled out his gun and pressed it against the side of my head.
"Well, that would be unfortunate," he whispered in my ear. I just glared at him.
"Alright, whatever," I said, as I pressed 'Call' on the phone. It rang a few times before Quinn picked up.
"Hello? Who is this?" Quinn asked.
"Hey, Q, it's me," I said.
"Omg!" she shouted, "Cara! Is everyone okay?"
"Yeah, I'm fine," I said in the most sincere voice I could muster, "I'm sorry I rushed out, my dad had a stroke."
"I'm so sorry!" she said. I couldn't believe she was buying it, "When are you coming back?" I glanced up at the guy in the hood and he turned off the safety on his gun. I could hear the 'click' in my skull.
"Oh, um," I started to stutter, "I don't really know yet."
"Oh okay..." Quinn said, I could hear the uncertainty in her voice, "Well I hope your dad gets better."
"Thanks, Q," I said, "Bye." I didn't even get to hear her response before the guy in the hood ripped the phone out of my hand.
