Cara's POV:
Who knows how long I've been here, maybe a week? It's impossible to tell time when you're alone in the dark every day.
"Hello? When can I get out of here?" I shout into the darkness. My voice bounces off the cement walls and resonates in the room. Nobody comes. "I'm not an animal! You can't keep me here forever!" I call, but nothing happens. "What's the point of kidnapping someone and locking them in a basement anyway?" I yell, taunting whoever is keeping me here.
"Are you done?" A deep, raspy voice fills the room. I look over and see the silhouette of the guy in the hood standing in the illuminated doorway. He slowly walks down the stairs, each step louder than the last. "I do have a reason for keeping you here, I've just been busy." I couldn't help but scoff when he said that.
"Yeah? Then what do you need me for?" I said, starting to lose my temper.
"I've heard that you have a hobby," he crouched down in front of where I was sitting. I tried to get a good look at his face but the shadow from his hood covered his eyes.
"What are you talking about?" I asked, trying to think of what it could be.
"Someone is paying your tuition so you'll deal for them on campus," he said, his mouth creeped into a smirk. I could feel my face turning red.
"You think I'm a drug dealer?" I rolled my eyes and shook my head.
"I know you're a drug dealer," he said. My whole body tensed up, "I've been following you around and I've seen you handing out coke and weed like they're candy. Also I might've hacked into your email and read the messages between you and your supplier." I was completely dumbfounded.
"Alright, so maybe I have a side business," I admitted through gritted teeth, "What are you gonna do now? Report me?" He stood up and laughed.
"Actually, I'm gonna use you," he said, "I need you to do some dealing for me," my heart started beating out of my chest."What makes you think I'll deal for you?" I asked, rolling my eyes.
"If you don't, I'll just have to hack into the school records and erase the tuition they're paying, or I could just keep you here as long as I want." I could tell he wasn't bluffing.
"Alright fine, I'll do it," I muttered, I didn't really have a choice.
"Great," he said, with a smirk on his face as he walked out the door.
