Cara's POV:
It's been a day since I agreed to deal for the guy in the hood, but nothing has happened yet. After a couple more hours of waiting, someone walked in. I could tell it was a guy, but he was wearing a red hoodie that covered his face.
"What's with you guys and hoodies?" I said. He didn't acknowledge my comment.
"I have your first batch," he said, "it's waiting outside." The hooded guy gestured for me to follow him, and for the first time, I walked out of the room. It took some time for my eyes to adjust to the daylight, but when they did I noticed I was in a normal-looking house.
"What the heck," I said looking around, "is this a frat house?" The guy kept walking.
"Yep, now let's go," he grabbed my arm and yanked me towards the back of the house.
"I'm pretty sure kidnapping is against the Greek system policy," I said, laughing at the fact I'd been in the basement of a fraternity this whole time. Once again, he ignored me. He opened the back door and I saw the black jeep I was shoved into the night I was kidnapped. He opened the back of the jeep and there was a big box. I looked inside and there were small bags of weed inside."It about $5,000 dollars worth," he said, "you're going to go back to your regular classes and deal this on the side, so basically what you've been doing."
"And remind me why you can't just sell your own drugs?" I asked, skeptically.
"People already know that they can buy from you," he explained, "and nobody's gonna question a girl like you if they find out there's drugs on campus." I winced and tried to ignore his extremely sexist comment.
"I could just go to the police you know," I said, trying to threaten him. The guy laughed and even though his face was covered I could tell he was rolling his eyes.
"The whole frat is in on this, we'll be watching you if you try to pull anything." Right then I realized I was backed up against a wall and there was no getting out of this.Quinn's POV:
Luke and I landed in Franklin Louisiana at about 10 o'clock that night, so we got a room in a motel. We both acted like that kiss never happened, which was probably for the best. In the morning, Luke woke me up and we got a taxi to take us to the address I found on Cara's suitcase. After traveling down a long road, we came to a fence. The taxi driver stopped.
"Here we are," he said, "that'll be $35." I looked out and saw a massive white mansion.
"This can't be right," I said, turning to Luke whose mouth was gaping.
"It's the Walters Plantation House," he said. I looked back out the window and saw a golden "221" on the gate. I guess this was the right place. I handed the driver some money and Luke and I got out of the cab. The gate in front was open, so we walked up the curved path until we reached the stairs leading up to the the front door. There were four tall columns in the front of the house and the door was all glass. I nervously reached out to ring the doorbell, and waited anxiously as I heard the chimes going off inside.
