Chapter 7

The screams were loud in my ears... I was trying to protect my brother and sister from the front. I was hit on the side of my head which made me dizzy for a moment, and they took advantage of that.

They shoved me aside and walked up to my siblings. "Nooooo!" I screeched as they took down my brother. I got up quickly and ran at one of they humans, I took him down with my red blast.

Another human went down the same way. I saw my sister hunched in a corner surrounded by at least ten humans. I screeched and launched myself at them.

I killed four of them, but I was too late, a sword was driven into my sister's chest, where her heart was.

All I could think was rage. I failed them, I failed my father. I thought.

I screeched louder than ever before and went to the front lines. I charged through and went straight to the humans, killing as many as possible.

Soon I heard their 'retreat' call, before hundreds of humans ran off of my island.

I sprinted back to my fallen siblings, to see my mother there beside them. "Oh (Y/N) why?" She cried, leaning her head on my back. I felt very sorry for her, first a mate, then two hatchlings, at least she still had me.

I opened my eyes quickly, another flashback, they were so depressing, but why now?

I looked out to the ocean and saw it, the shimmering object I had seen earlier. I zoomed in on the object and saw something that freaked me out like crazy. I let off a scared cry and leapt from my nest, not caring if I caused a racket.

I heard a Night Fury call out, and I replied with my scared cry. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Toothless with Hiccup on his back flying over go me. "Hey, hey girl, what's wrong, what's the matter?" He asked kindly and soothingly.
I let out a screech and turned to look out at the ocean.

Hiccup gasped and Toothless growled.
