Say Goodbye (A Chris Brown Love Story)

Chapter Seven

My alarm went off and I hit the button, shutting it off and I dragged myself out of bed. I was Monday morning, meaning school. That just sucked. I took a quick shower and got dressed in some white leggings, white snow boots and a soft pink sweatshirt that came down over my butt and said "kiss me" in white letters on the front. It had gotten much colder when winter started on the 21st of December. Yesterday since we weren't busy, we put up a Christmas tree and decorated it. Chris said it was the first time he had put up a Christmas tree and he said he'll leave it up until New Years.

I was happy yesterday because Chris had started showing me affection. Just small stuff like putting his arm around me and kissing my cheek occasionally. Maybe he was close to being ready for a relationship. But I'm gonna take it slow because I really like Chris. And I had a feeling he liked me too.

"Mimi, time to go." Dani said, leaning in my room. She looked so cute, she had on white leggings like me but with black boots and a gray sweater. And Chris had curled her hair and pulled it up in a ponytail, snapping a white bow in at the top of her ponytail.

"Kay, here I come." I grabbed my back pack and followed her out the room. Chris was waiting at the bottom of the stairs looking dressed for winter too. He had on dark jeans, a white shirt, tan timberlands and his beloved leather jacket. Looked quite sexy if you ask me. Plus his black beanie he was wearing made him look cute.

"Hey you don't happen to have another beanie do you?" I ask him as I come off the stairs.

"I have a white one in my closet, you want it?" He replies.

"Yeah." He went back upstairs and I went to the coat closet to get Dani's white marshmallow coat.

"Dani, come here." She walked over and I put the coat on her, zipping it up.

"I'm all warm!" She says.

"You sure are. Lets go to the car." She takes off running and I follow her to the garage.

"Here you go." I turned around and saw Chris who tossed me the white beanie. I put it on and he walked over, fixing my hair over my shoulders.

"Awe, that beanie makes you look so cute." He says, causing me to blush.

"Stop making me blush." I said, wrapping my arms around his torso.

"But it's so cute on you though." He leaned down and kissed my forehead. "Come on, lets get going."

We quickly dropped Dani off at her new daycare that Chris found after what happened at the old one. He had been really pissed off about that. I had been wanting to ask him what exactly are we. I know we're not dating. Or at least, I don't think we are.

I sorta just followed him in when we walked into the school and he stuck his hands in his pockets. I started to look around for Hayden and I saw her by my locker, talking to some guy.

"Hey, I'm gonna go to my locker." I said to Chris.

"Okay." I walked away from him and ran up to my locker.

"There you are!" Hayden said after the guy walked away. "Jason has been asking about you." Ah, Jason. My former crush.

"He has?" I ask.

"Yep. He asked me did I think you would want to go on a date with him." 

"And you said..."

"Of course! But I told him to ask you himself." Great, now he wants to pay me attention when I finally found someone else.

"Oh my gosh, act natural. Chris Brown is coming this way. Don't say anything and he'll just pass us by." She says. I just roll my eyes and turn towards Chris.
