Chapter 13: CHB at last!

Annabeth's POV

We left the twin's house in down spirits. The twins were crying uncontrollably, even Katie and I couldn't comfort them.

Soon, we reached camp and was greeted by Thalia's pine tree, Peleus the dragon and the beautiful strawberry fields.

"Welcome to Camp Half-Blood! Let's go report to Chiron and we'll show you the lay of the land." I said, grinning like a Cheshire cat while walking towards the Big House.

"Percy and Annabeth! You're back!" Chiron greeted us while some of the other campers whooped. "And both of you are?" He turned to Percy and I.

"Chiron! These two are twins, Celeste and Nat. They're the new half-bloods." I said, embracing my favourite Centaur.

I spotted Rachel, our Oracle and I ran to hug her. Within gasps for air, I told her about Celeste and Natalie. Curiously, I asked who their Godly parent was. She pointed to the signs hovering over their heads in response. The lyre. Symbol of Apollo.

"Hail, Celeste and Natalie, daughters of Apollo. God of the Sun, prophecy, music and healing." Chiron said solemnly, as all of us bowed down. "Will! Show your new sisters around will you?"

Celeste POV

I can't believe that the Greek Gods are real. And that one of them is my biological father, Apollo. I guess that makes sense though, me and Nat both had a deep passion for music and we both loved anything to do with medical stuff, or what they call "healing" here. Looking at my twin beside me, I know that she is having the same thoughts as me. Our lives had just changed overnight.

"Hey! I'm Will Solace, your brother. I'm cabin counsellor, and also head medic here at camp. I'll show you around. By the way, how old are you both? When you reach 16, you'll discover your talent. Every Apollo kid has one. We take after our Dad, most of us can shoot pretty well, heal people, play a few instruments. But your talent is what you excel at, doing even better at it than the rest of stuff that we inherited from Dad. Well, a bit about me. I turned 18 recently, and my talent is healing. I play the piano, guitar and sing." The guy named Will said.

"We're 15, but turning 16 in tomorrow...by the way, I'm Natalia, you can call me Nat. I'm the older twin and we're differentiated by our glasses." Nat said.

"That means tomorrow your talents will be unveiled!" Will exclaimed. I guess I still had worry etched on my face as Will said softly, "Hey, it's okay. You're safe here at Camp Half Blood. There's a protection barrier around the camp so no monsters can get in unless summoned. I remember my first time here, I was 9. I was really nervous last time but once I settled down, I started to love this place. You know, many of us have unhappy pasts with our real families thus here is our safe haven, our beloved home. Let's go meet your other brothers and sisters, and I'll bring you around and explain more."

I smiled and we followed Will to our cabin. Beautiful music greeted my ears as we entered. Seeing, us three, they paused their music as Will introduced us to our new siblings. I was shocked to see so many people in our cabin, meaning that we had so many siblings. It had only been us 2, then 3 when Amanda was born, for just about forever. They took turns to introduce themselves, stating facts about themselves.

"Hi, I'm Celeste. I play the piano and flute, and I have always wanted to be a doctor!" I shyly introduced myself.

"Hey! I'm Natalia! I play the violin, viola and cello. I like medical stuff too, but I guess Leste loves it more." Nat exclaimed with enthusiasm.

"What's your talent?" someone asked.

"They're turning 16 tomorrow, we'll know soon! Also, if you want, I can teach you healing stuff!" Will said.

Both of us squealed in excitement, we could learn how to heal people, our dream! All of our siblings responded with equal enthusiasm. For the first time, I felt truly at home and I knew Nat thought so too.

AOTD: Apollo definitely! Basically, I play the piano and the violin, and I lavvvvv all things medical XD and also i sometimes like to write poetry so yeah:)
