"So tell me, how many people tried to meet you." Kate said as the nurse helped her sit up.
Rick chuckled and held her hand, "Only the whole floor I was on but I was on a mission to get to you." He said and Kate blushed.
"I think the hardest surprise was that the women now know the you are no longer available." Kate said and Rick gasped.
"Jealous much?!" He teased and Kate smirked.
"Just markin my territory." She said and they totally forgot about the nurse who was chuckling.
"Oh ughh.." Kate started.
The nurse smiled and laughed, "Don't worry Ma'm." She said and waved her hand.
"Been married for 3 years now." She winked and Kate smiled.
"Now if you need anything just press the button." She said and the both nodded.
The nurse left and Kate tried to stay awake but she was really tired.
Rick smiled and kissed her head. "I need to call your dad." He said and Kate moaned.
"I just hope he doesn't kill me." He sighed.
"Why? I thought you asked him if you could marry me." He said and Rich chuckled.
"No I made sure to ask him about that, I meant that I let you get hurt." he sighed.
"Babe you couldn't have known." She said and he sighed.
"I guess but it still doesn't make me feel any better." he said and she squeezed his hand.
As Kate started to doze off there was a knock on the door.
Rick quietly got up and opened it to find his sister.
He smiled and closed the door behind him. "What are you doing here?" He asked.
Liona smiled and hugged him, "Oh I don't know maybe see Kate." She said sarcastically and Rick stuck his tongue out.
"Anyway is she up to visitors?" She asked and Rick smiled.
"When she's up yes." He smirked and she rolled her eyes.
"Smart elec." She said and she smirked.
