Kate blinked her eyes open, she was in a bed. She slowly sat up and rubbed her head.

Where was she? "Ahh Miss. Beckett you're away." A man said and she narrowed her eyes.

"Beckett? My last name is Rogers." She said and he looked confused.

"Your driver's license said Beckett." He said and she shook her head.

"Where's Rick?" She asked and he furrowed his brow. "Rick?" He asked and she threw her covers off.

"My husband, where is he." She said and he smiled sadly. "Miss Beckett maybe you should lay down, I'll go bring your family in." He said and she sighed in relief.

"Finally thank you." She said and he nodded. She took the phone from her nightstand and screamed at the screensaver.

It was a picture of her and Josh. She quickly deleted it and tried to find a picture of her and Rick.

She scrolled and scrolled but nothing. The door opened and her father and a woman walked in. "Dad!" She said and he smiled.

"Hi hun how are you feeling?" He asked and she scoffed. "Confused! Where's Rick!" She said and he furrowed his brow.

"Who's Rick?" He asked and she shook her head. "MY husband!" She said and he chuckled.

"Sweetie you're married to Josh." He said and Kate's eyes widened. "No.." She whispered and he smiled.

"Darling why is she so surprised." The woman next to him said and he shrugged. "Who are you?!" Kate said and the woman folded her arms.

"Very funny sweetie.." She said and Kate glared at her. "I'm your mother." She said playing along but Kate felt sick.

"I must be dreaming! You died when I was ten! I never married Josh!" She screamed and they looked confused.

Kate shook her head and dialled Rick's phone number. "You've reached Richard Castle please leave a message."

"What! Rick doesn't go by his writer name!" She said and Jim chuckled.

"Why? He's a writer." "No he's a Prince! I mean King." She said and Jim and Johanna laughed. "I don't think so." Jim said.

"He's my husband!" She said and they rolled her eyes. "He's married to his publisher Gina." He said and Kate felt nauseous.

Really? If this was a dream why did Gina have to be in it. "What about Lanie and Javier?" She asked. "They're at work hun, they said the captain would give you some time off." Johanna said.

"What?!" "Your captain." She said and Kate shook her head. "I'm a detective!?" She asked and they nodded.

"What?! How.. Well actually that's pretty cool." She said. "But still!" "Sweetie lay down." Johanna said and Kate took a deep breath.

"I missed you mom." She murmured and Johanna smiled.

"I missed you too." She said and Kate smiled a bit.

"I want to go back." She whispered and Johanna smiled sadly.

"Then come back." She said and Kate mumbled again.

"I wanna go back." She said. "Come back." "Come back babe." A voice whispered and Kate scrunched her nose up.

That voice.. She slowly opened her eyes to find Rick sitting right next to her bed holding her hand. "Rick?" She whispered and he smiled.

"Hey you." He said and she slowly sat up. "What's my last name?!" She asked.

"Kate." He chuckled. "My last name!"

"Very funny." He said and she glared at him.

"Rodgers." He said cautiously.

"Who am I married too?!" She asked and he laughed out loud.

"Now that is funny." He said and She groaned. "I'm guessing you." She said sarcastically and he laughed.

"Yea now what is going on?!" He asked and she took a deep breath. After telling him the strange dream she had he laughed.

"Yea that was funny!" He said and she scoffed. "I really thought it was real! It was horrible." She said and he smirked.

"You mean the part where I was married to Gina." He said and she growled. "Don't joke like that." She warned and he smiled.

"I promise I would never marry her." He winked and she rolled her eyes.

"Now..what happened?" She asked and he sighed. "While we were leaving the warehouse you passed out." he said and she bit her lip.

"Why? I felt fine." She said. "Doctor said it was stress." He said and she nodded. "And is the baby ok?" She asked and Rick nodded. "Yea." He said and she breathed a sigh of relief.

"Good." She said and he smiled. "So you passed out yesterday and it's today and today is.."

"Our Anniversary!" She said and he chuckled.

"Yep, 4 wonderful years with you." he said and she smiled. She squeezed his hand and he smiled, leaned down and gently kissed her.

"Doctor said you could leave." he whispered and she gasped.

"Then what are we waiting for?! You have a fancy dinner to take me to." She said and he laughed.
