"Katherine Rodgers you get back." Here Rick said and Kate giggled. "Please." He whined and she rolled her eyes. "Where's your sense of humor?!" She said and he stuck his tongue out.

 "Come on we're gonna be late." He said and she smiled. "So?" "Kate." He warned and she rolled her eyes for the millionth time. Rick and she walked down the steps into the limo. 

Once they arrived Rick helped her out and they walked into the hospital together. Kate was now 9 months pregnant and a few days over her due date so the doctors were going to induce her so the baby would be ok. 

"Hello Katherine." Doctor Blakeley said and Kate smiled. 

"Hello." "So are you two ready to meet your baby?" She asked and they both smiled. "More than ready." She said and the doctor smiled. "Then follow me." She said and Rick placed his arm around Kate's waist as they walked to the hospital room Kate would be staying in.

 Of course Rick had made sure it was the nicest and best one. After Kate was settled and comfortable in her hospital bed. A nurse came in and gave Kate the shot that would begin the contractions and an epidural shot even though Kate wanted natural Rick had begged her to get an epidural, he didn't want to see her in even more pain.

 "Ok Kate in about an hour or so you should be ready for delivery." The doctor said and Kate smiled. "Thank you doctor." She said and the doctor nodded. Once they were alone Rick pulled his chair as close as it would go to Kate's bed. He took her hand and she smiled.

 "I can't believe we're finally gonna meet bean." Kate said and Rick chuckled. She had named the baby bean until they found out if it was a boy or girl. "Me either." He said and she smiled. "And you get an heir to your throne." She joked and he chuckled. 

"That's the least of my worries." He said and she giggled. "Your dad called and said that private jet just picked him, Lanie and Javier up, they should be here by tonight." He said and she nodded. An hour had passed and Kate had begun to fall asleep when the door opened and Doctor blakley walked in with a few nurses. 

They took Kate and helped her into a wheelchair. "Your highness would you like to be in there?" Doctor blakley asked and He looked at Kate. She nodded and smiled. Rick looked and the doctor and nodded. "Please." "Very good, just put these scrubs on then." She said and he took them. Once he was changed Kate was being rolled to the delivery room. 

One they got her in the delivery room and she began to have some close contractions they began to go to work. "Rick it hurts so much." She said about to cry. His heart broke to see in her in so much pain. "Doctor should she be in so much pain?!" He asked and the doctor shook her head.

 "No she shouldn't we gave her the epidural." She said and Rick was beginning to freak out. "Please help her!" He said and Kate began to scream. "Oh no." THe doctor said and Rick walked over to her. "What!?" He said. "I should have seen it sooner I'm so sorry.." "What didn't you see?!" He yelled. 

"Eclampsia.. We need to do a C section." She yelled and the nurses nodded. Rick walked over to Kate who was grabbing him her head that was throbbing. "Shh it's gonna be ok." Rick whispered trying to comfort her and him. The doctor's got Kate onto the table and gave her anesthesia. Once she was out they began to open her stomach. Rick had to look away during this process, he was praying that Kate would be ok and the baby. 

After a few minutes or so Rick heard the sound of screams fill the air and turned around to see the doctors lifting the baby out and putting her in the towel. "Daddy would you like to cut the cord?" The doctor asked. Rick smiled, relieved that his baby was alright. After cutting the cord the nurse went to weigh and clean up the baby. Rick went back to Kate. 

They had just finished sewing her up. "Now she's going to be very sore when she wakes up, when she goes home in a few days make sure she doesn't tear those sitches." The doctor said and Rick nodded. A few minutes passed and the nurse came back with a clean baby and handed it to Rick. 

"Your baby girl is as healthy as can be! 7lbs 6 oz." She said and Rick smiled. "And what about Kate?" He said. "She'll be fine, eclampsia isn't deadly but it is is if not treated immediately but we got it in time." She said and Rick thanked her. Kate was moved back to her room and the baby was taken to the nursery for some tests and then brought back.

 Rick was holding her when Kate began to wake up. "Hey beautiful." he said and she smiled weakly. "The baby?" She asked and he walked over. "Meet our baby girl." he said and she smiled. "She's gorgeous." She said and she smiled when the baby opened her eyes revealing the crystal blue eyes she received from her father. "Did you give them the name we decided?" She asked and he nodded. 

"Yep she is offically Anna Grace Rodgers the 4th." He said and she smiled. "Don't forget the new princess." She said and Rick smiled. "Of course, our future queen." he said and Kate giggled. Their Anna..
