Hey guys! Thanks to everyone who bothered to read! I didn't think I'd have more than like 2 reads! Anyways, I want to give a special thanks to emmagold922 for helping get this story started and to purplefreak137 for getting the word out! Make sure to check out purple freaks new story Revolving around the sun and Escaped and running! They're both GREAT reads!!! :) Picture of Felicity on the side. And now for the story!
Beebeep beebeep beebe... I woke with a start to my alarm, dripping with cold sweat. I'd had another nightmare and it was terrifying! I was in my dance studio, it was dark, and the three walls of mirrors were covered, and I kept seeing movements behind them. I was working on triple pirouettes on point, but for some reason every time I got into the second turn, my leg would let go and I would fall. In the dream I kept doing it over and over again, and by the seventh time I was losing it by the first turn. After I fell the eighth time I couldn't get up again. My left knee was bleeding and my toes felt like they were on fire. All of a sudden, out of nowhere this thing jumped out from behind the mirrors and grabbed my right arm. A searing pain shot up my back. I tried to scream but no words came out, it was like I was completely paralyzed with fear. I looked on, watching myself, waiting for what would happen next, but it never came. That's when my alarm went off and drove me out of that horror. I couldn't believe it! It was so vivid, like it was really happening.
I sat up and thought, why wasn't I landing the move, I've done it before, I know I'm strong enough what could it... Wait! Maybe it was that milkshake, if I'm packing on weight in the hips or thighs it would throw my balance off. That must be it!!
Excited, I jumped out of my cushy bed, laying out my lavender bedspread and headed across my sleek hardwood floor to my on-suite washroom. My bathroom consisted of a bathtub/shower, sink, toilet and delicately decorated pine-wood steam room. O.K so my parents are kind of rich, so sue me! Anyways, I headed over to the mirror and put up my long, straight, chestnut brown hair and headed to the basement to the elliptical and treadmill.
My mom slept on the third floor and I was in the basement so I could blast music. I turned on my LMFAO play list and hopped on the treadmill. Twelve kilometers and nearly two hours later I jumped off the treadmill. It was nearly seven thirty and I really didn't want to be late for school, not that anybody would notice.
After a shower and quick prep of hair, I threw on a blue v-neck shirt and dark wash skinny jeans and ran downstairs where I found my mom at the kitchen table in a robe and pink slippers.
"Morning Flick, do you want a waffle or pancakes?" My mom asked, sipping her coffee.
"No thanks, I, uh, I, already ate." I hated lying to my mom but if I don't want that horrific nightmare to come true I need to lose weight not gain it.
I grabbed my orange backpack and went to meet Aphrodite at the bus stop. In eight months I'll be sixteen and won't have to take that big, ugly, puke stained bus.
I heard the honk of the bus coming around the corner and thought, Great, just one more day in the out crowd.
