"Andrea!" I hear my mom scream after me. I keep running. I won't let myself stay in this city. I notice that I somehow have started slowing down to a walk. I try to run but I can't. My whole body feels horrible. I fall to the ground.
"Andrea? Andrea?!" I hear my mom screaming. The screaming seems to become faint and I drift off to a short sleep.
2 minutes later
"Andrea? Wake up!" My mom is now crying and is probably thinking that I have passed out. I wake up immediately. I feel so much better. I feel energized, but still angry at my mom. I quickly get up.
"Andrea! Sweetie, you're okay!" She tries to hug me but I back away.
"How can I trust you if you've been lying to me this whole time? I heard you say how I have gone crazy. Why would you say that about me?" I ask now in a whisper because I keep on crying.
"I don't know what has happened to me, Andrea. I shouldn't have done that. Please come home." My mom is now crying too. She starts begging me to come home.
"No. I don't know where I am going but I'm leaving." I say angrily. I start to walk away.
"Andrea Lilian! I am your mom and you will do as I say." She hasn't seemed to be this angry at me before. I start running and then all of a sudden something crazy happens. I start to fly.
I stop in mid air. I gasp. I don't really like heights and I'm about 20 feet off the ground. I see my mom standing there shocked.
"I told you. I do have powers!" I scream and my mom probably heard me. I fly away. I'm going to a new place, a new start, and with an empty mind.

It's been about 2 hours. After I got used to flying, I went to a gas station to grab a snack. It's 5:03 pm. Where the heck can I go? I grab some Cheetos and a rootbeer.
There's still some sun outside. I look at my phone and I look through my contacts. Then I remember my one friend that I never lost connection with who lives in Kentucky, Brenda Parkly.
"Hello? Brenda it's me, Andrea. I was wondering how life is going?" I practice call her. "Ok, now it is time to actually talk to her." I finally call
"Ring ring"
"Hello?" Brenda answers
"Hey Brenda! it's me, Andrea Wilson." I tell her and wait for a response.
"Andrea!! Oh my gosh, how have you been? What's wrong? " Brenda starts asking billions of questions
"Hold up, I left my house. I don't have anywhere to stay for the night and I was wondering if I can come over?" I ask hoping she will say yes.
"Andrea, you are living in New York. I'm in Kentucky, I don't think you can make it here for the night."
"Trust me, I can."
"Well what happend? "
"Let me tell you when I get there."
-------- 1 hour later---------
"Ding dong" the doorbell rings.
