The secret supergirl

Chapter 9- You are a witness.

The principal and the office secretary are standing at the office waiting for me. They ask the common questions of how my day was, do I like the school, met any friends, and all that. Then we get into a more serious note.

"So you were in the bathroom when the shooting occurred. Is that correct?" The principal asks me.

" Yes." I tell him.

"Did you know that anything like this was going to happen? Were you friends with the shooter?"

"Well of course I didn't know that this would happen, it's my first day here. I can even make it around the school without getting lost. No I don't know who the shooter was."

"It's okay Miss.Wilson. We just thought that since you were the only one out at the moment that you might have caused it with not wanting to be at a new school or to leave early due to being new."

"I promise that I didn't cause any of that."

"Ok. Would you have possibly known the person who saved the school?"

"No, I was using the rest room the whole time."

The secretary then speaks up. "I remember looking at the ground, praying to god. Then I feel the gun not against my head. It was a miracle. The person who caught him was a girl, who looked around your age. With black hair, just like yours. She was wearing a superman suit. Did you save me?

DANG! I'M GONNA PUNCH THIS LADY IN THE FACE. IT'S SUPERGIRL! That was all I could think about at that moment. Sorry, let me continue.

"No, I was just using the bathroom. I heard the gunman shoot at something though so I stood on the seat. Praying as well." I tell her.

"Oh. I'm sorry that was a crazy question. You can't change into a outfit that quick and have superpowers. Psh."

She seemed like she knew something about me. She stared at me for the rest of the time that I talked to the principal. The principal even thought that she was kinda creepy. She might just be crazy though, possibly traumatized and now all psycho.

I basically miss my next class so then I walk to 4th period. I meet up with Brenda in the hallways.

"What happened? It's your first day here and you are already in trouble."
She says.

"I'm not in trouble. Remember the um, shooting incident? Today? Well they thought I was the suspect since I used the bathroom at that time. But there's more." I then push her into the girls bathroom. No ones in here at the time.

"Why did you push me into the girls bathroom?  Don't worry. No one uses the bathrooms here. Except us today of course."

"Oh. The secretary had a gun against her head and I saved her. She thought that I was who saved her. But I was in my supergirl outfit. Now she's all crazy about finding out my identity for if I am supergirl." I tell her.

"Well she is the crazy secretary."

"Wow! My problems are all solved! That really helps me , Brenda. Thanks!" I say sarcastically.

"You're welcome."

"Do you think she will find out?"
