Ch. 12- Another lie solved

"Henry?" My mom asks the man. " oh my goodness."

"Hello."

They are stuck in this moment of disbelief and wonder. Just staring at eachother, my mom zones back into reality.

"You! What are you doing here? You scared me to death thinking you got killed in that plane accident!"
My mother becomes furious and starts to leave.

"Wait, Elaine please!" She stops and doesn't look back at him.

"I've told my lies. Haven't we all? You haven't even told Alexus about me." He says pointing to me.

"Alexus?!" I ask shockingly.

"I can't believe that you forgot your own daughters name. It's Andrea."

"Of course, how could I forget!" He says. "You've grown so much."

"A young supergirl already fighting crime." He says to me and gives me a look that tells how he knows.

I backed away "Who is this guy?"

"He's your dad. Henry Kent." My mom says disappointed.

"Hi honey." The man says to me.

"Andrea Kent? That's my name. What else is a lie? Let me guess, I'm related to Clark Kent? Haha" I laugh after I say that but nobody is laughing. They are surprised.

"You know clarkson?" My mom asks.

"Yeah, he's the man that walked into my hospital room a week ago." I tell her.

"I knew that I recognized his face." She says.

"Who is Clark Kent?" I ask.

"Clarkson Kent is your brother." My supposed father says.

"Clarkson? Kent? Why do you tell me this stuff now?" I asked

"When your brother was about 8 and you we're born, your father left me cause he didn't want another child. So when you were 3, you noticed a picture of a boy and asked who it was. I was so disappointed in father for leaving that I said it was just a photo of your 2nd cousin who passed away years after the photo was taken." My mother explained to me.

"What is wrong with you two? You left
me,"I said to the father of mine, "And you. I don't understand why you can't accept me. I go to school with Brenda and now I feel like people are accepting me. I even have friends, like Callum. Also I finally get to meet my brother after you lied that he died. Honestly, you both suck at parenting."

"There's another thing about us that you don't know." My father looks at my mom and she nods.

I back away, "what it is?"

"We aren't your actual parents, Andrea." My mom says.

"You are adopted."

Ok hold on, I thought you said that dad left when he found out you were having another kid?

"I found you on the streets when you were a baby. There was a picture of you and a man attached to a note. The man is your actual father and you have a family photo with both your parents that I seemed to loose. Anyways, I couldn't leave you in the cradle on the street, so I signed adoption papers and they searched for you father but no matches were found."

"Can I see the note?"

"Honey, I left it in the apartment roo.."
