The secret supergirl

Chapter 7- School... Again?

"Breaking news! In Asheville, North Carolina, a small orphanage building was burned down by a fire. Yet, someone saved all their lives. We have Richard Wilmson in Asheville right now. Richard are you there?"

"Yes I am bill. There seems to have been a fire last night at around 8pm. Have you seen who saved the 7 children?" The reporter asks the orphanage lady.

"I honestly did not see what they looked like. All I remember was looking at the building panicking, then a young woman swoops in and in less then 10 minutes, saves them all." She says to the reporter. One of the orphanage kids butts in to talk. It's the 6 year old girl I saved. Uh oh.

" I saw what she looked like! She was strong and said her name was supergirl. She also said that everything will be alright and she'd save me. That calmed me." The little girl says. Then the boy that was with the girl who I also saved started talking.

"She wore a mask and an S symbol on her shirt like the superhero, super girl!
She was supergirl!" The boy says excitedly probably remembering it all.

"Well that's it folks. Is this the actual supergirl? If so then why would the building be damaged and still broken? More news back at the studio. Bill?" The reporter ends up the segment.

"You saved them?" Brenda asks.

"You broke the building?" Jake asks sadly.

"Yes I saved them and the building wouldn't have been any better if the firemen arrived as I did. I can't be a repairman and supergirl at the same time!" I say kinda frustrated that jake isn't impressed with me saving all the kids.

"Well that's just great. What if one of them saw your face? Your identity!" Jake says to me frustrated.

"No body looked me in the face. Everything will be okay." I reassure jake.

"Tomorrow is going to be your first day at school. I won't be there cause we have separate school buildings, but while you are there, you will need this." He says as he hands me some ear piece. "This is a small piece of technology that you will use if you ever face any big problems. Just act cool. If people ask you what you think about super girl then just say you haven't heard about it. "

"Well we better go to bed you guys. I'd hate to say it, but tomorrow is Tuesday and there will be a long week ahead. Do you have any classes with me?"Brenda asks. Then she checks it. "Well you have 5 classes with me."

"Good morning" Brenda wakes me up at 6 am.

"It's 6 am, do we really have to wake up this early?" I ask exhaustingly.

"I take the bus. It comes at 7:20 , so I wake up now and take a shower, eat breakfast, and walk to the bus stop."
She says all ready for the day.

"Ugh, I hate walking."  I groan and rest my head on a pillow.

"You hate everything. Learn to brighten up a bit. At least you'll be at the same school as me!" Brenda says to me as she grabs the pillow out from under my head.

I finally get the urge to get up somehow after that.  I get ready and we both head out walking.

We get to the bus and ride to school. Everyone seems to look at me strangely probably because I'm new.
A girl behinds us taps on Brenda's should and asks who i am.
I over hear and introduce myself.

"My names Andrea Wilson. You can just call me Andy though." I say to the girl. She seems surprised at how out going I am. The bus seems to get more full with all different people. I've arranged it. Jocks were towards the back. Nerds in the front. Weirdos behind them and I guess that I'm apart of the cool kids. Brenda must be popular. She seemed to have changed.

We arrive at the school and I pretty much know everyone's name thanks to Brenda and the girl behind us.

I walk out the bus and a jock pushes me over. First thing I know is that I'm falling off the bus stairs into the arms of a really ,really cute guy. I basically just stand there for a moment in the guys arms. He doesn't look like a jock nor a nerd. He's in between.

He looks into my eyes and asks if I'm okay. I tell him that I am. Then I immediately run away after he lets go of me and I'm stable.

I lost where Brenda went and this place isn't a small school. Shoot. First day at a new school and I lost Brenda. I look at my schedule and it says room 146.
I run to the room and find a spot to sit down in and take a deep breath. I still have 15 minutes.

I call up Brenda. "Hello?" She responds

"Brenda, I don't know where my locker is and I'm in room 146." I tell her.

"No you're not."

"What? I'm in room 146."

"Are you in the high school part of the building?"

"High school? This place is connected with the middle school?!!" I start to panic.

"It's okay, just try to leave the building and find the middle school."

"Thanks, that really helps!" My sarcasm level increases.

I leave the school. I finally ask a person where the middle school is and they show me. I run into the school. 5 minutes left. I run the halls. It's more complex then the high school was. I find my locker though and put everything in there. 2 minutes left. I call her again.

"Where are you now?" She responds stressed out a bit.

"By room 234"

"You are on the top floor, come down to the bottom. I'll meet you by the bottom of the staircase."
I hurriedly run down the stairs.

She's there when I get down there. We run to the class. Just in time with 13 seconds left, I guess. I relax in an open seat and look at the environment. Everybody seems to be nerds or weirdos. Except a couple jocks.

I sit behind Brenda. All I can think about is that guy. Hazel eyes and brown hair. A bit shaggy, but cute. His eyes that hide behind his glasses and the smile. A freckle or two.

"Andrea!" Brenda whispered to me.

"What?" I ask. Zoning back into reality. She nods up toward the teacher. The teacher asks me what my name is.

I am so embarrassed. I look up to her. "Umm I don't know."

Will Andrea have a crush on this guy? Will they meet again??

That was a really long chapter in my opinion.

I'm glad to be back on to writing again.
I took a break.
But I'm back!
