*** Corinne's outfit, first day back to school.
By the time we got all the boxes loaded up to my room I was exhausted, one more day and I'd have to go back to school as Jake's girlfriend. I decided to lay on my bed and read until I got tired enough to sleep.

It's already Sunday night! How did it fly by so fast? I think to myself before turning on the shower for it to warm up. I hear my phone vibrate on the bathroom sink.
Hey girlfriend, I'm picking you up at 7:15 in the morning for school. Dress the part. Goodnight
I put my hand to my forehead, What have I gotten myself into?

The next morning I wake up to my alarm clock beeping in my ear. What a restless nights sleep. I had almost
forgotten that my life was about to be flipped upside down. " Shit, I have to start getting ready, its going to take forever,I'm no longer the wallflower Corinne Little."As I get done curling my hair I grab the first outfit I can find out of the top box. It was a short pair of blue Jean shorts, a black tank top and an over sized yellow knit sweater.
I do my makeup the best I can, look in my horizontal mirror. I still couldn't believe how different I looked. I hear my phone vibrate and check my message. It was from Jake.
I'm here, meet me at your door.
I inhaled deeply to hold my breath and counted to three."Okay Corinne, don't have a panic attack, you can do this. "
I ran down my stairs and grabbed a piece of toast and practically inhaled it before gulping down a glass of OJ. My mom looked at me as if I'd lost my mind. " Slow down sweetie, you're going to choke. You look so beautiful by the way, do you need a ride to school?" I look at her and give her a smile. " No thanks mom, my ride is waiting on me." With that I grabbed my purse and binder and barged out the front door. I run into what felt like a cement wall. "Wish there beautiful, what's the rush?" I look up to see Jake standing as close to me as we could get, looking down at me with a full fledged smirk plastered across his chiseled face. " Sorry, I didn't want to keep you waiting." I stutter. " No worries, we have plenty of time." He grabbed my books from me and sat them down on my porch swing. He was looking me up and down, after smiling at me he says " You look hot, almost good enough to be Jake Lavoi's girlfriend." I look at him in disgust. " Seriously, you aren't all that." I look him up and down, he's wearing a grey, short sleeved, v neck shirt. His jeans are dark blue jeans with frays in all the right places. His hair is gelled a bit with part of of it loose flowing towards his eye. His muscles complimented that shirt way too well. He gives me a knowing smirk. " If you say so." I blush instantly, not that he would notice with all this make up on my face.
He grabs my hand and starts walking me to his black SUV, a thousand electricity bolts shot up my arm from the touch of his skin to mine. Sure I have had a few boyfriends but they were all like me huge nobodys. None of them ever made me feel anything like this from just their touch. Jake opened up the passenger door and let go of my hand. Instantly I missed the electricity, the warmth of his bare skin pressed to mine, even if it was only his hand. He smiled widely at me. " Here you go my lady." I quickly sat in the seat before he could notice my huge love struck grin plastered across my face. I'm sure it looked something like an obsessed teenage girl fan that just met Justin Bieber.
He gets into the drivers seat, while putting the SUV in neutral. He looks over at me with a serious expression on your face. " Don't worry you'll be fine, if anyone gives you a hard time just know I've got your back and so will Sammi." I nod my head and smile at him. The whole time feeling like I could puke at any moment.

Five minutes later and we pull of to Jake's parking spot at the school. Jake jumps out of his car and runs over to open my door for me. He grabs my books from my lap and pulls me up with his other hand. His arm is wrapped around my waist, I looked up at him, he seemed even taller standing so close to me. He stared down down at me with his big beautiful eyes that seemed to hold so many secrets. His hand moved up to my face, rubbing his finger tips under my chin. He almost looked as if he wanted to kiss me.
I'm knocked out of my trance suddenly, and I do mean literally knocked. The first thing I feel is pain to the palms of my hand. I was lying on the parking lot pavement. I looked up and saw Rylee standing by a shocked Jake. She was glaring down at me with so much hate.
Jake runs over to me and helps me up, examining my hands. "Are you okay?" I nod almost in tears. He looks over at Rylee with so much anger in his voice. " Don't ever touch my girlfriend, EVER again." He says almost barking at her.
Rylee instantly looks shocked, " girlfriend? Please tell me you have amnesia Jake, why on earth would you date her! She is a nobody! Besides I thought you wanted to work on us?"
Jake looked amused. " No, Rylee I did want to work on us, you want to work on us. You wanted to work on it with half the football team." His jaws clinched at her. " it was a mistake Jakie, I already told you this." " Yeah a mistake you made with 15 different guys Rylee." Jake shouts. Rylee's expression apathetic. " Besides she's not a nobody she's my girlfriend, stay away from her and me." Rylee screeches, glares at me " this isn't over, you're a nobody, he will get bored with you soon enough." She turns around, her hair hitting my face in the process and walks away.
Jake looks at me. " I'm sorry about her, Corinne, I should have warned you about her. I had no idea she would physically assault you though." "It's fine, really. Don't worry about it." But deep down I knew it wasn't fine because Jake wouldn't always be there to protect me from Rylee.
