***Corinne's outfit
The rest of the party was pretty uneventful. Heather was wasted so I ended up having to drive her car back to her house to stay the night. No way was i going to go back to my mom questioning me why Heather was the way she was.
Heather's parents were out of town for business so it seemed to be the perfect solution.
I put the car in park in Heather's driveway while she was half passed out in the passenger seat mumbling incoherently and laughing to herself.
I get out of the drivers seat and open the passenger door for Heather. I unfasten her seat belt to pull her up and she falls to the ground hysterically laughing. " Heather please stop laughing so loud, it's 2 in the morning and your neighbours are going to wake up, do you want your parents to kill you?" She stops laughing and puts her finger to her mouth as if to tell me to keep quiet.
"Okay I'm quiet, lets get you to your room." I say quietly.**********
After about five minutes of dragging Heather to her room I finally got her there and helped her in her bed. After I finished helping her out of her heels I went to her closet to find something for myself to sleep in. I ended up just grabbing a light blue tee and a pair of sofee shorts. Heather really didn't have anything less discrete. I don't think that word was in her vocabulary.
As I layed down on my air matress in the floor I felt my phone vibrate.
Hey, it's Sammi, so Jake asked me if I could give you a make over, he told me his plan with you. Come to my house tomorrow 11 am.
I text her back
Alright, thanks
I could barely sleep a wink all night.

I ended up walking to Jake's house, it was only about a fifteen minute walk. When I had left Heather she was passed out, I'm sure she wouldn't be up until at least 3. So I didn't have much of a choice.
It was a beautiful morning, sunny and quiet. I was so lost in thought, I didn't realize I was standing in front of the Lavoi's home. The huge white house was even more beautiful in the day light. The dark had done the house no justice.
I nervously walk up the stone path to the front door. I rang the doorbell, standing, biting my bottom lip from nerves. After what felt like a long time Sammi opened the door with a huge smile on her face. " Are you ready to get started?" " sure" I said sheepishly.
We made our way up the stairs case, her house was just as beautiful on the inside as it was on the out. I couldn't imagine living in such luxury.
We entered her room. The room was any teenage girls dream, a queen bed in the middle of her room pushed against the far wall, night stands on each side of her bed, a make up table with a mirror in front and a study desk with a pink lamp that sat on too of it. Like she had told me last night she had her own private bathroom with the door closed to it. The walls to her room were painted a dark purple. Her queen sized bed had light purple covers and a canopy above.
" Wow, Sammi your room is amazing!" " Well thank you, my parents threw it together for me when they found out I was moving back home." I had just remembered that she had lived elsewhere until recently. " So where were you for so long?" Sammi looked a bit sad at my question. " Well I was attending a private school in London, I missed my family terribly though and if grown home sick. I loved my school there and it was hard to leave, it would have been harder to stay though you see?" I nodded understandably. "Well that explains your accent then. I noticed your brother doesn't have one." She smiled " Yes, well I lived in London for quite some time, five years to be exact. That's really all I've ever known."
" Well, I love the way you speak to sounds so elegant. " I say to her trying to cheer her up a bit. Sammi smiled at me. " You are quite a lovely girl my dear Corinne, I think we shall be great friends."

An hour had passed and Sammi had just finished my make up and hair. Apparently she had studied cosmetology at her private school in London, she had told me about how the school brought in all the best beauticians in the country to teach the students. It amazed me how worldly this 16 year old girl was, she had experienced more in her short life then I could ever imagine doing in all of mine.
She didn't cut my hair any since I had just had that done by Heather's beautician yesterday. She curled my hair and styled it. She applied eye shadow to make my dark eyes stand out, a Smoky dark blue effect, dark plumb lipstick and false dark eyelashes. She then applied a bit of rouge colored blush to complement my olive skin tone, or so she told me.
She turned me around to let me see the outcome. I looked almost like a different person. Even more so than last night at the party. I hadn't allowed Heather to do so much to me.
" What do you think?" I heard Sammi ask me. " I don't even recognize myself." Sammi looked confused, " Is that good or bad?" I smile bigger than I can remember ever smiling, it's good, definitely good."
" Fantastic! My brother may end up getting more than he's bargained for, that boys never been in love but I believe that may change after hell sees you my dear." My eyes must look as I've just witnessed a ghost appearance because Sammi start laughing at me immediately. " Ah dear I was only joking, well sort of." She keeps laughing. I give her a small chuckle back.
" So do you really like my brother then?" "Uh, um,.. I'm not sure." I lied.
"Sure, sure of course." Sammi smiles knowingly. " So Corinne, are you ready to pick an outfit?" Before I could answer she pulled an outfit out of he ginormous, walk in closet. It was a dress that would hang right above my knees. The too was creamy white and the bottom was light blue floral print with a brown crochet belt that snug tight to the waist. She also pulled out light brown cowboy style boots and fringe white scarf. Sammi told me to go to her bathroom and change. When I came back out she had the biggest smile on her face. " My goodness Corinne, you're beautiful!" I hated to admit it but when I looked in the mirror I felt beautiful as well.
Sammi then loaded boxes on top of each other. " What are in those? " I ask her. " Nothing but clothes, shoes, and accessories, of course." She said it in a way that it was the most obvious thing in the world to be doing. " Why? " I asked confused." " Whatever else for, you have to have different clothes to wear to school and what not don't you?" " Well, yeah but I can't take these from you it's too much!" " I have way more then k could ever wear Corinne, besides if you want to be my brothers lady then you must look it." She smiled at me with that statement.

Sammi had gotten the maids to help us carry the boxes to her car. Suddenly a black SUV pulled up in her driveway.
Jake stepped out of the drivers side door looking exhausted but still undeniably handsome. He walked up to me and Sammi and said " what's all of this?" " these are some clothes for Corinne here." That's when he finally looks up at me, his eyes look look heavy but looked so light blue and beautiful, his eyes widened. " Corinne?" He says softly. "Isn't she gorgeous?" Sammi says proudly. He smiles at me with a half smirk. " Yeah she's alright." I frown at his response. " Brother dear I do believe it is time for that annual eye exam, or possibly brain examination." She adds. He smiled at us both. " Hey I have 20/20 thank you very much." He smirks. " See you at school Monday beautiful. " He says as he walks into the house. My mouth literally felt like it just dropped to the ground, as Sammi smiles. Jake pops out the door and returns suddenly. " Hand me your phone." I hand it to him without question. He types something into my phone and hands it back to me. I hear his phone chime. He opens his phone up, smiles at it then at me again. " got it." Was all he said, turns back around and walks back into the house. I was left there wondering if my heart would make it through the next three months in one piece.
