Once we got to the park we saw a whole bunch of people. Some of them weren't from Chicago. So I went and ask a girl sitting on the bench.

Me: "what's going on here?"

Girl: " have you been under a rock it's a black top tournament , duh" she said chewing a wad of gum.

Me:" you can chill with the attitude, nobody want to here that."

Girl:"look bitch you bess not make me get up !"

Me:"I wish you would bitch."

Trey:" daija calm down ."

Girl:" and what is your name."

Trey:" trey." He said discussed

Girl:"my is zizi."

Me:" let's go."


SHANE'S P.O.V

I'm so glad trey calmed daija down cause if not that girl would've got her ass beat. My name is shane larkin I go out with skylar diggins, ❤you baby, and I'm going to Miami university next the fall. I know some peolpe say that's too far away from Chicago but sometimes you just got to get away from home and start over again.

Me:" I heard that these teams are some of the top street teams on the east coast."

Daija:" I know and they go around asking people if they want to play with them and if they're good then they play with them till the end of the tournament.

Trey and skylar :" haha thirsty teams!" They said at the same time


DAIJA'S P.O.V

A boy came up to us and asked if we wanted to play.

Boy:" hey my name is john I just wanted to know if y'all wanted to play." He looked at me and and smiled

Me:"no I think we're just going to..."

Skylar:" what she was going to say was that we do want to play."

John: "good well y'all are going to play for Chicago their over there." He said pointing to a fence.

Skylar:"great thanks!"

John:" no problem"

DAIJA'S P.O.V

When I walked over to the fence the boys were just looking at me and skylar. They told trey and shane to go to the other fence an that was the elite team. Once they left one boy grabbed my waist and pulled me in and then a car pulled up and took me, skylar, and two boys to a huge house.

Me:" what are you doing?"

The boy:" this is what we call our ball house."

Skylar:" I don't know what y'all are up to but get us out of here."

The other boy:"no, y'all go when y'all play."

Me:"so what time do we play?"

Boy1:" I don't know."
