I woke up at like 9, to the wii playing. I went down stairs to see colin and kailyn playing the wii.

Me:" hey"

Colin and kailyn:" hey"

Matayo ran up to me and when i sat down he jumped up on me. I got a call from verna so i answered it.

*phone convo*

Verna:" hey daija"

me:" hey verna. Did you find her yet"

Verna :" i did and she wants to see her"

Me:" why"

Verna:" to tell her she is not going to be with her anymore"

Me:" you got custody "

Verna:" yes i did. She gave her to me"

Me:" so dont yall have to go to court"

Verna:" it starts tomorrow."

Me:" do you want me to keep her longer"

Verna:" if you want to. If its no trouble"

Me:" i actually would like to keep her longer. There's a summer league nba game in l.a. If it's okay with you i can take her"

Verna:" it's fine with me. Just come by to get some clothes."

Me:" okay. What time"

Verna:" umm how about in 15 minutes"

Me:" sounds good to me"

Verna:" okay see you then"

Me:" okay bye"

Verna:" bye

*end of phone convo*

Me:" come on kailyn. You gotta get ready to go to your mema house"

Kailyn:" i gotta leave early"

Me:" nope. You are staying here for an extra week"

Kailyn:" yayy" she screamed

I laughed as she jumped in colin's arm. Colin walked over to me and kailyn jumped to me.

Me:" let's go" i picked her up and we went upstairs

Me:" you brush your teeth"

Kai:" yes"

Me:" wash your face"

Kai:" yes"

Me:" ok"

We walked to the room and picked out her clothes. I picked out her pink and white striped polo shirt with her jean shorts and her pink and white low 11's.

Once she was finish getting ready, i got ready. I put on my cargo pants, my black true religion shirt, and my peanut butter and jellys. I brushed my teeth and washed my face and we got going.

Once we got to verna's house. Kailyn ran to the door. Once verna opened the door kailyn screamed.

Kai:" mommy!!"

Km:"hey baby" she said not excited

Me:" hi. "

Km:"hi. "

Me:"im daija"

Km:" lisa. Wait your daija rose"

Me:"yes"

Km:" nice to meet you"

Me:"nice to meet you too"

Colin:"hey" he said walking in the door

Km:"that is not colin kaepernick"

Colin:"i am" he said laughing

Km:"im lisa"

Colin:"hi. "

Kai:" mommy are you going to l.a with us"

Lisa:" no baby. Listen, you're going to living with mema, okay"

Kai:" where are you going" she said looking at her little fingers

Lisa:" i gotta move. Im not going to see you anymore"

Kai:" but i thought you said you weren't going to leave me"

Lisa:" i know, im sorry"

Kai:" colin i want to go" she said running to colin. He picked her up and covered her head with his palm.

I turned my head and started to tear up. It reminded me of myself when i was little and my dad left me.

Lisa:" kailyn..." she said walking behind colin. Kailyn turned her head.

Kailyn's stuff was already in verna's house, so i went back there and packed a bag for kailyn.

Lisa:" daija. Should i do this"

Me:" if you have to get help then yes"

I grabbed the bag, hugged verna and went to the car. Lisa ran out to the front yard as we were pulling off. Once we got back to my house, i packed my bag, which took a long time because i live clothes and have too many clothes. Then we had to go to colin's house. It took him a shorter time to pack, and kailyn fell asleep at colin's house. It was late for her, she's four give her a break. I picked her up and carried her to the car.

Once we got to the airport, the lady took us to the back because their was a private plane for us. Colin strapped kai down and she laid by his side. When the flight attendant said we could unbuckle our seatbelt, i unbuckled kai and she climbed in my lap. We started taking pictures and putting videos on Instagram. Once we landed in l.a, we went to the hotel, unpacked and the headed to the arena. Kailyn was smiling the whole way.

Once we got there, kailyn ran to az, skylar, shane, and trey.

Az:"my babyyy" she screamed as she picked her up and kissed her cheek.

After the game kailyn was worn out. She met javale, Dwight, kobe, lebron, chris bosh, Kevin Durant, russell Westbrooks, basically she met the whole nba family. Thats how it was the whole week. She met nba and wnba players. She even met nba and wnba legends. At the end of the week we had to go back to Chicago. The only bad thing about going back to Chicago is that once we get back mama v, big E, and kai are moving to uptown Chicago. Uptown Chicago is the suburbs. I live in east chicago, thats a hour ride. Im going to miss her.
