Meltdown pt2

Daija's p.o.v

August woke me up early to tell me he had to the studio. I said ok and waved him off and went back to sleep. I woke up an hour later mad as hell. I was still thinking about how stupid i was for not knowing that Ron was cheating on me.

I walked into the bathroom and brush my teeth and washed my face. Then i threw my hair up in a pony tail and headed to the kitchen. I was upset so i found a bottle of peach ciroc, so i decided to just take it. I played do better by drake and cried. Basic light skin shit but hey,i dont care. I just kept thinking of how much of an idiot i was.

Skylar's p.o.v

Okay, so i went to go help dai finish unpacking her stuff, and when i got there the door was unlocked so i went in. I found daija drunk and shattered peach ciroc bottles on her floor and her hazel eye suddenly became blood shot red. Daija doesnt like drinking so i know something is up. I went to go take the bottle away from her and she screams at me, and she knows i hate when people scream at me, so i slapped her and thank god for august because he came running in the door grabbing Daija.

Aug:" what the hell"

Dai:" let me go!"

Me:" dont let her go"

Daija picking up a remote and with her strong arm she threw it at my chest.

Me:"ahhh"

Aug:"skylar!"

Dai:" thats right you said im crazy and i showed you crazy"

Me:" calm down dai"

Dai:"NO!" she said sliding down a corner crying

Aug:" daija, calm down"

Dai:" no because im crazy and stupid for not knowing that Ron was cheating"

Me:"i cant! i cant sit here while you are like this!" i got up and ran out the door in frustration

August's p.o.v

I ran after skylar catching up with her in the hallway.

Me:"sky wait!"

Sky:"what! what do you want"

Me:" you cant just give up on her"

Sky:" im not giving up on her but she needs help"

Me:" i know i could...."

Sky: " you know what august, she told me not to tell you but i have to. She was always in love with you but she went out with Ron to get you off her mind. And the problem isnt you. It her dad duh"

Me:" how is it her dad when she doesnt even talk to him?"

Sky:" thats the point. She hasnt got to really talk to her dad. She never really had that man figure in her life. Derrick and daylin had to grow up way too fast when their dad left. She just need her dad. She's waiting for an apology. You gotta go out with her. She need and wants you. And you can help with her dad. "

Me:" her dad doesnt even like me. How am i suppose to set her up to talk to him if he cant talk to me"

Sky :" fine. Ill help, but im only giving you two days to convince her okay"

Me:" okay fine. Im gonna ask her out now"

Sky:"dont do it if you dont want to"

Me:" no, i was going to do that in the first place"

Sky:" okay well im going to talk to her dad"

Me:" okay bye"

Sky:" bye"

I went back in the room and daija was cleaning up the glass.

Me:"daija come and sit down, we need to talk"

Dai:" ok"

Me:"look i loved you since before we went out and i loved you when you went out with Ron. I need you daija. And i know you need me. I can see it. So be mine and i promise ill treat you better than yo last nigga"

Dai:" i love you to august and yes i will be yours, only yours"

Daijas p.o.v

So i guess i go back out with august now. Im actually happy. I mean ive needed him and only him. He put me out of my comfort zone and thats all i ever needed.

Aug:"i love you"

Me:"i love you too"

Aug:"can i ask you something?"

Me:" sure"

Aug :" do you ever still want to talk to your dad?"

Me:"i do but i dont know about him"

Aug:" well if i can get yall together then will you "

Me:"i mean if you can but he doesnt like you"

Aug:"dont worry about that"

Me:"okay then yes"

Aug:"good. Now lets go lay down. Before that headache kicks in"

Me:"i want to see a movie "

Aug:" what movies do you have"

Me:"a lot , but i want to watch all the house party movies"

Aug:"alright let me put them in" he got up off the couch and went to my room. And i followed him. He put in the movie and i laid my head on his chest and fell asleep.

*skylar's p.o.v*

I went to daija's dads house and knocked on the door.

Dai dad:" skylar what are you doing over here"

Me:"i came to talk about daija"

Dd:"is she okay"

Me:" yea she's fine but i wanted to know if you can come over her condo and talk with her"

Dd:" about what"

Me:" just to catch up with her and apologize to her"

Dd:" why do i need to apologize"

Me:" i dont know, how about the fact that you favoritized derrick, daylin, and d'asia and left her in the mud"

Dd:" how long will it take"

Me:" ill give you five minutes "

Dd: " fine"

Me:" thank you"

Dd:"yea yea now go home and get some rest"

Me:"okay" i said laughing

I called august to tell him about it.

*phone convo*

Me:" hey august

Aug:" hey what happened

Me:" he agreed did daija?

Aug: yea. When is it

Me: tomorrow and it will only take five minutes

Aug:" okay well ill tell her in the morin since she is knocked

Me:" the drink finally wore off huh"

Aug: yea you know it

Me: alright well ill see yall tomorrow.

Aug: ight bye

Me: bye

I drove home and got in bed next to shane. He was staying over since he was in town. He asked about what happened so i told him and went straight to sleep.
