Chapter 31

Daija's p.o.v

During the night, Ron walked home, so i woke up alone. I woke up to my phone vibrating. It was August.

*phone convo*

Me:" yes august"

Aug:" well hi to you too"

Me:" what do you need boy"

Aug:" come down to the court"

Me:" why?"

Aug:" theres a tournament"

Me:" do i have to play"

Aug:" no but come prepared"

Me:" ok, is skylar and shane there too"

Aug:" yea they right beside me"

Me:" ok, walked to my house, im not walking alone"

Aug:" aight im on way way"

Me:" ok bye"

Aug:" bye"

*end of convo*

I walked down the hallway to my moms room. She wasnt sleep at all.

Me:" mom?" i said knocking on the door frame.

Mom:" yes"

Me:" can i go to the court"

Mom:" yea. You gone have to take ari and damire "

Me:" why"

Mom:" they have been waiting for this tournament. And make sure Kennard is there"

Me:" ok thank you"

Mom:" have a good time"

Me:" we will" i said walking back to my room.

Kennard is apart of the gang Kevin and Johnez were in. After Kevin was shot, Johnez took ariel and damire to the gang house, then bought out a whole bunch of people.

Kevin was the leader of the bloods in Chicago. And in Chiacgo we don't fuck around. So When the cripts came and took me, they took ariel and damire too.

*flashback*

They were about to shoot Johnez , after they had beaten him half to death, right in front of me. I ran out in front of him.

Me:" NOO! dont shoot him"

Boy:" well i cant now"

Me:" why"

Boy: " once Kevin was giving me my money, we made a deal that i cant kill him family, or girlfriend. Only ones from the gang"

Me:" but Johnez is his cousin"

Boy:" but he is in the gang, so i can kill him"

John: " daija go and get off of me"

Me:" no im not letting you die "

John:" leave"

Me:" what happens if i dont move and i take him home"

Boy:" then i cant kill him as long as you are on him"

John: " daija leave !"

Me:" no!"

John:" if you take me, he will follow us and he will have no choice but to kill you"

John:" someone get her off of me"

They dragged me off him. I screamed the whole time till they sat me down. Johnez was weak and helpless laying on the floor. The boy just pulled he trigger not waiting for nothing.

Me:" NOOO!" I said with a horrifying scream

They picked me up and took me into a bedroom with a huge bed. They laid me down and tied my hands to the bed.

Me:" leave me alone!"

One boy started fingering me. If didnt feel good at all. Another one lifted up my shirt and started to feel on my boobs. I tried kicking them but it didnt work.

The boy that killed Johnez came in and started licking in me. After a little bit he put him hands on me neck and rammed into me.

Me: " get off of me!"

Just then someone busted through the door and had a whole bunch of people behind him. It was kennard. The other people started fighting while i slid my pant back up and put my shirt down. I fell off the bed and ran over to Kennard, and he held me close. No i dont like kennard like that. He's like five years older than me. But he drove me to the gang house. And just held me close.

We sat down on the couch and i laid my head on his shoulder and cried.

Me:" kennard, why would they do that?" i said crying. My eyes were blood shot red. And watery.

K:" i dont know, but you cant let them take over you like that. I know it hard to fight them off but still"

Me: " im just scared"

K:"i know. It's going to be okay" he said wiping my tears away. I've always trusted him , just because of that day. And even now, nobody but ariel and damire knows what happened an we agreed to keep it a secret.

*end of flash back*

I cringed because of that thought. August knocked at the door. Shit i still wasnt ready.

I went to go open the door.

Aug:" damn dai you still not ready?"

Me:" no i was thinking about something"

Aug:" well come on get ready" he said following me up the steps to my room. My room has a walk in closet so he sat on my bed an watched t.v while i got dressed.

Me:" okay, ready"

Aug:" aight lets go" we walked outside and started to talk.

Aug: " you know i missed you"

Me:" i missed you too, its going to be hard since i cant come home regularly"

Aug:" i meant i missed being with you"

Me: " august your not going to get me back now."

Aug:" i know, i know i fucked up"

Me:" yea you have. But i missed you too"

He pulled me to the side and kissed me, holding on to my waist.

I tripped and fell while we were kissing. We broke the kiss and he helped me up and we both laughed. He licked his lips then bit them and stared at my ass.

Me:" stop looking august" i laughed

Once we got to the park we met up with shane and skylar and sat down to watch. We were sitting all the way at the top so no one was behind us. I felt a hand holding my waist and i pushed it away and looked at august. All he did was laugh. I rolled my eyes then smiled. 😒😊☺️
