3 YEARS LATER
(Hiccup is now 18 and looks like he did in Rtte)

"Toothless, are we going to look for Riker's ships today?" I asked, perching ontop of an ice spike.

"No, Viggo is out on the lookout for us again." He says, through chewed food.

"Oh, how do you know this? Are you spying on them?"

"From time to time, I mostly overhear it though, Riker has a fairly loud voice."

"And you never told me?" I ask, bummed at the fact my friend has been sneaking around without me.

"It was for you're safety."

"Mm hmm." I say, jumping down from the spike and flying off into the Sanctuary.

Toothless has always worried about my safety. No matter what kind of incident it was. He always would ask me to tell him when I would head out of the Sanctuary, just so he knew where I was. I know he is just looking out for me, but getting watched over like a new-born hatchling is a little annoying, like I'm 18 already.

I walk into the main part of the sanctuary, and it's chaos! Dragons are dead and lying on the ground, and every alive dragon is either blasting all he/she can, or is flying like a maniac at the cause. A dragon fly's down towards me, looking horrified,

"Hiccup, Riker and his fleet are here! They have found the Sanctuary!"

"Oh No! Okay; Torch, I need you to grab all the hatchlings and their mothers, along with the injured, bring them to the far side of the island. I'll get Toothless and the rest of the defenses." I say, flying to find my best friend, leaving the Typhoomerang to his work.

I hurry to find Toothless, who is already at work, blasting away at the Hunter's ships. I've always been told to stay hidden in fear of getting captured, so I call Toothless. He easily hears my call, and fly's over, allowing me to drop onto his back.

"You're sneaking around might have just got us killed, Mr. 'Overhear-er'," I tease, lightly punching him in the shoulder.

"Yeah yeah, sorry. They would have found us sooner or later anyways, who can't miss a island with an ice-mountain on it?" Toothless says, then focuses back on blasting the ships.

We fly for a few minutes, observing the ships. They've at least caught around 9-10 of our dragons. I guess Torch did his job well and saving the others. I peer over Toothless' shoulder and watch Riker and his gang aim for Toothless and I. Toothless quickly dodges, and avoids the shot, but I wasn't ready, and am thrown off his back. The net misses Toothless, and hits me, disabling me from using my wings.

"TOOTHLESS!" I yell, plummeting towards the ship below, with Riker's evil grin plastered across his face. I see Toothless try to save me, but all the defenses are focused on him. I give him a hand signal, telling him to back down. He does, after some hesitation, and calls the other dragons to retreat. Apparently we are as well; I'm guess Riker got what he needed.

I lay on the ships deck. It's covered in armored men and they're all holding some sort of killing weapon. Riker is easily spotted it the crowd, and walks over to me. If looks could kill, I'd be a bloody corpse.

"What the hell do we have here?" He says.

"Looks like some sort of Freak, to me" Another says, earning an axe to the helmet, it stays there, embedded in the metal for a few moments, before falling to the deck with a clang.

"I'm very well aware of that." Riker says, shoving the man again, and this time throwing him overboard. He walks up to me, and I curl into a ball, afraid of being hurt anymore. I'm pretty sure I at least bruised a rib or something. My side hurts like crazy.

"What are you, little fellow?" Riker says, placing his foot on my lower back, as if claiming me.

"What makes you think i'll tell you?" I say, not realizing I had spoken in dragonese.

"Huh?" Riker says, digging his foot into my back further, "Grunting isn't going to make this situation easier; for me or for you."

"I said; What makes you think I'll tell you?" I restate, this time in Norse.

"Smart mouth. Let's just say; if you don't tell me, your wings will be pinned on my wall tonight." I curl them farther into my back at the last comment.

"And what if I do tell you?"

"Hmm, I dunno. I'll have to give you to Viggo, my brother first. He probably will expect alot from you." He say's, Instructing some guards to bring me to a cell. I get brought below deck, then put into a dragon-proof cell. Riker comes down and stands outside my cell,

"Trader Johann is stopping with us tonight. You better stay quiet." He says, then walks back on deck.

I sit in the back corner of the cell. My wings wrapped around me to hide me. I'm barely noticeable from the cell door; I'm hidden by the shadow in the corner. All I think about is home. I wonder what Toothless is doing right now.

I wake up to a bunch of drunken shouts and cries, "Johann!; Trader; Ol' Pal!" I hear him reply with, "Ah, the Dragon Hunters; one of my favorite people in the whooole Archipelago." The sarcasm is dripping off his lips, I'm surprised Riker hasn't realized yet.

"Alright, everyone, Yohann is coming with me for a moment; Snark, make sure none of your little friends pick and pluck anything from his ship." Riker says; and from the looks of it, he is bringing Johann down here, is he selling me to him? No. He'll just ask Yohann for something important for a trade of a dragon or something, I'm pretty sure he'll do that.

"I-I-I don't really like the feeling I've gotten down here..." Johann studders.

"Suck it up." Riker says, banging on a cage next to him. Unfortunately it had to me mine, "Get up, Freak; I got someone who wants to meet you!"

"What made you think I wanted to be introduced to?" I growl, I don't like this Riker guy already.

"Is this creature you wanted the Dragon Eye for?" Johann asks.

"Yes, I think he'd serve you well. He's got a bit of potential. He also lived with a colony of dragons. I bet he'd be alot of help as a weapon. By the way, how'd you know where to find him?"

"I'm still a human you know." I sit up straighter, my eyes burning into his soul-less body.

"I heard from your boss; Viggo. He wants me to bring him," he gestures to me, "To him by two days time."

"Where do you have it?" Riker asks, "My brother is looking forward to having it back."

"It's on my ship; on a crate, near the mast. It's sealed with a brass lock. The key is here." Johann hands the key to Riker. Is this really happening? I'm getting sold to a trader for a item called the 'Dragon Eye'. I watch Riker go on-deck and watch the trader shift back and forth between feet. I sit there, curled back into a ball now, hiding in the corner. I don't know what's going to happen to me. I've actually never been more scared in my life. I just wish Toothless was here.
