Chapter 1: Hang-Out (Part 1)

One day, Sonic's friends are hanging out in the beach, while Sonic and his best pal, Tails are
watching TV. Sonic felt so bored, especially he's watching TV.

Sonic: (yawns) I'm so bored!
Tails: But... There's a TV. Why are you still bored?
Sonic: I'm tired watching TV. All of the shows make me yawn.
Tails: Then why can't you just rest or hang-out with our friends?
Sonic: Ok, um... I should check out on my friends what are they doing.( stood up) See ya later, Tails.
Tails: Oh! See ya later too, bro.

Sonic dashed through the porch of his shack. But there's nobody else in the beach.

Sonic: Huh? Where is everybody?

Then he saw Amy and Sticks, looking down at the sand at the side of the beach, looking for something. Then Sonic shouted...

Sonic: Hey, Amy! Hey, Sticks!
(He waved his hand as the pink hedgehog and the badger saw him)
Amy and Sticks: Oh! Hi, Sonic! (waved their hands)

Sonic goes to them...

Sonic: What's up, guys?
Sticks: Oh. Just searching something... (smiles)
Sonic: What is it?
Amy: Searching for shells and other things in the sand for our new BFF necklace.
Sticks: Yep.
Amy: Do you want to join with us?
Sonic: (looks away and looks at the sea). Nevermind, guys. But do you have another things to do?
Amy: When I and Sticks finished beachcombing, Sticks and I will going to the village.
Sonic: (scoffs) For what?
Amy: We're just having fun as friends, right, Sticks?
Sticks nods.
Sonic: (looks at them). Ok. Maybe I should hang out with you two.
Sticks: (swings her arm up) All right, and you should bring Tails and Knuckles.
Sonic: ( looks around) Where's Knuckles?
Sticks: (shrug) Maybe flexing his muscles. As always.
(Then they heard a thud.)
Sonic: Wait... Eggman!

Sonic dashed through his shack but there is no Eggman on his shack.

Sonic: Tails? Are you here? (curiously)
Then he saw Tails entering to his shack.
Tails: You didn't saw me lying in the outside?
Sonic: Hehe...I was alerted. Anyway, what happened?
Tails: (chuckled) I accidentally fell from a window while I'm watching you talking with two girls.
Sonic: (feel ashamed) Ok...so...umm... What did you heard when we are talking?
Tails: I heard that you will hang out with them.
Sonic: So you wanna come with us?
Tails: Sure, pal! Fraternizing with friends is no big deal, but Knuckles will come, right?
Sonic: I don't know, maybe you should find him using your flying ability.
Tails: Ok, Sonic but later--
(Then Knuckles burst into their shack.)
Knuckles: Hey, guys!
(The brothers surprised.)
Tails: I thought you are bodybuiding.
Knuckles: I'm bored doing that again.
Sonic: Oh, Knuckles! Good timing!
Knuckles: (his eyes widen) What is it?
Tails: Well, later, we will going to the village together to look for new merchandises in the village.
Knuckles: OK! I don't want to be lonely this time. But how about Amy and Sticks?
Sonic: Ehh.. That's the reason why we are going to the village! They requested me to go with them.
Tails: We need to wait until the girls are finish.
Sonic: I'll check out on the outside.

He ran through the beach and he sits on a sand, waiting for Amy and Sticks. He drifted off to sleep due to his boredom.

Minutes later...
Meanwhile, someone wakes him. When his eyelids opens, he saw Amy and Sticks standing front at him.

Sonic: Oh, hey guys! Are you waiting too long? (Embarrassed)
Amy: Ahh...No. Just for now.
Sticks: By the way, we finished beachcombing with Amy.
Sonic: All right, I will call Tails and Knuckles.
Amy: We saw Knuckles walking right now, they said let's go but we need to wake you. And Tails was here.
Tails: (chuckled)
Sonic: (his head was down, sighs)
Amy: Sonic? What's wrong?
Sonic: I'm sorry... I feel embarrassed...
Tails: Uhh.. Sonic. It's ok. ( patted him in the shoulder)
Amy: ( touches his quills) It's...It's okay, Sonic.
Sonic: (smiles in a ticklish way and he shakes because he was tickled by Amy)
Sonic: You're so thoughtful about our friends. ( winks)
Amy: (blushed,smiles)
Sticks: Awww...
Sonic: Anyway, the sunset appears... I gotta run! ( runs)
Tails: Hey, Sonic! Wait! ( flies)
Sticks: Well, that's awkward.
Amy: Yeah.
Sticks: I notice you that you really care about Sonic too.
Amy: Sonic cares about everyone, except Knuckles, a little.
Sticks: Anyway, let's go.
And they left.
