Chapter 10: Are you Jealous?

Amy wakes up in the morning, ate breakfast and goes outside. She saw Cream with Cheese having a training.

Amy: Hey, Cream. Having a busy day?
Cream: Oh, yes. I'm giving Cheese some training.
Amy: Oh, OK.
Cream: BTW, I think I saw Sonic running, heading to the village. Then I noticed something. ( shows the petal to Amy.)

Amy began to get curious on the petal.

Amy: Is Sonic having a date with someone?
Cream: I don't know. You better check it out.
Amy: OK, see you later, Cream. ( leaves the house.)

Amy's POV
I'm starting to get curious right now. Is Sonic have a date? Better not be Faith, because they just met. But I'm also starting to get jealous at her.

Normal POV
After 5 minutes, Amy went looking for Sonic in the vilage, but she can't find him everywhere. She stooped looking for him, and she just sits on the bench. Finally, she saw Sonic with Faith going to Meh Burger. She squinted her eyes and became jealous with a mix of curiosity.

Amy: What was he doing with Faith?

She stood up and goes to Meh Burger to notice them. She noticed Faith holding a bouquet of flowers. Now she knew what was going on.

Amy: ( crossed her arms.) Ehemm...Sonic?
Sonic: Oh, yo, Amy. How's it going?
Faith: Hello, Amy.
Amy: Nah, pretty OK. Question, Why does Faith holding a bouquet of flowers?
Sonic: Oh, that! Oh, well...
Faith: He's having a date on me. ( blushes.)
Amy: What?! Sonic, are you serious?!
Sonic: Why? I'm starting to fall in love with her...
Faith: Aww...( blushes.)
Amy: Sonic, you and Faith have met yesterday, and this is what happens? Are you having a date with someone you just met?
Sonic: "Just met?" Well, I already know everything about her.
Amy: I don't care if you already know her, my point is why are you dating a fangirl that you've just met that day?
Sonic: Wait a minute, are you jealous? ( smirks.)
Amy: ( blushes.) What?! No, I do not!
Sonic; Yes, you are. ( laughs.)
Amy: I said I do not! ( pulls out her hammer.)
Faith: Guys, please do not fight! You're acting like cats and dogs and there's no reason to argue this time!

Sonic and Amy looked away from each other.

Sonic: You know what? Can you just leave us alone? We're having a MU here, OK?
Amy: ( frowns.) Fine...
Sonic: Anyway, let's go to eat, Faith.
Faith: Ok! See ya later, Amy!
Amy: Yeah...See ya.

Amy went away from Sonic and Faith, and went to Sticks' burrow.

Amy: Hi, Sticks!
Sticks: Hi, Amy! What brings you here?
Amy: Ugh... Having a complicated day.
Sticks: And what is it?
Amy: ( sighs.) It was just Sonic having a date with Faith.
Sticks: Wait, what? That doesn't make sense.
Amy: IKR, I don't really understand what's going on.
Sticks: Why can't you just tell your true feelings for Sonic to stop acting like that?
Amy: Sticks...I was very shy to tell him, if I heard Sonic likes me back, then you know what will happen.
Sticks: Don't worry, Amy! I will spy on his shack!
Amy: Sticks, no! You don't have to.
Sticks: But you want to know if he likes you, right?
Amy: I know, but don't do that.
Sticks: But...I'm doing this to make you happy in a long time.
Amy: I'm already happy with you. ( smiles.)
Sticks: What can I say? You're my best friend!
Amy: ( hugs Sticks.)
Sticks: ( hugs Amy back.)
Cream: How sweet...

Amy and Sticks just noticed that Cream was there.

Amy: Cream?
Sticks: Are you already here?
Cream: Uhh...Maybe?
Amy: Oh, jeez. ( facepalm.)
Sticks: Look, Cream. Don't tell this to boys. Everything will be messed if you do tell them.
Cream: Don't worry! I'm trustworthy!
Sticks: Good....
Amy: You know what? I'm going home. Let's go, Cream.

Amy and Cream left Sticks' burrow.

6:00 P.M

Sonic: That was a lot of fun talking with you.
Faith: Yeah, me too. ( smiles.)
Sonic: Well...see you tomorrow.
Faith: Bye, Sonic! ( winks.)
Sonic: Bye. ( runs.)

Sonic's POV
I'm worried about Amy. Maybe I should talk to her right now. I have to apologize what happened today. After running; heading to Amy's hut, I knocked on the door, and say, " Amy, are you there?"
Amy's POV
When I heard someone knocking outside, and heard Sonic's voice, I actually surprised. What is he going to do? I'm so nervous. OK, Amy, woman up! I opened the door.
Normal POV
Amy: Oh, Sonic! Why are you here? ( crosses her arms.)
Sonic: Oh, let's talk about stuff.
Amy: What stuff?
Sonic: About what happened earlier.
Amy: I don't want to talk about this....
Sonic: Amy, please! I want to apologize.
Amy: Fine...Just make this quick! ( goes outside.)
Sonic: Amy....Sorry about what happened. I just want to be nice to Faith.
Amy: Oh, really? The girl you've just met? ( feels jealous.)
Sonic: Stop complaining, Amy. Actually, I came here because I'm worried about you.
Amy: Really. ( blushed.)
Sonic: Yeah! Because we're friends, right? Don't you think I care about our friends, especially you?
Amy: ( smiles.) Aww..You're so sweet. ( hugs him, blushes.)
Sonic: ( blushes, hugs back.) Yeah...Uhh...So, will you forgive me?
Amy: ( breaks the hug.) Yes.
Sonic: Yes! Thank you, Ames!
Amy: No problem, Sonic! BTW, I wanna go home now. Good night! ( goes inside.)
Sonic: Night, Ames. ( sighs.) So, how am I going to start courting Faith?
