Chapter 3: Preparations

8.00 am/Bloom's pov

I had woken up after a good night sleep and it was probably the best one I've had so far. I've decided that today I will tell my friends about my lost sibling and my intentions to try and locate him.

Normal pov

After a long explanation Bloom had finally told her friends about what she had discovered and to say they were speechless and shocked was putting it mildly.

"So let me see if I've got this straight, you have a older brother who singled handedly fought Valtor and the ancestral witches. He sacrificed himself to allow you to escape. He got sent to earth using a portal Daphne created but one of the witches fired at it causing a chain reaction that may have sent him further in time with a changed appearance with no memories of who he once was. Did I get all that?" asked Tecna.

"That sums it all up, yes" said Bloom.

"And you're going to try and locate him using your dragon fire since he has it as well?" asked Musa.

"That's right, there's no guarantee of success but it's better than not doing anything at all. If I do locate him, I'm going to try and find him and you don't have to come with me if you don't want to. He's my responsibility after all" said Bloom.

"Well, it's all so sudden but since this means a lot to you, I'm in" said Stella.

"Same" said Flora.

"You can count me in" said Musa.

"I'm not about to let you go at it alone so I will join in" said Tecna.

"You heard us, we're in this together. That's why we're the Winx" said Aisha.

"Thanks girls, now I have to concentrate and see if I can locate him anywhere on earth" said Bloom.

Bloom began to concentrate hard, putting all she had into locating the dragon fire on earth. Scanning country after country, continent to continent and even the mountains and deserts. When it did not work out she tried a little but important country called Singapore. Making sure not to miss an inch she scanned the entire island. Soon she locked onto an energy signature that was very similar to hers. After locking on to this energy she did a check on its power and it was no doubt it was the dragon flame just like hers. Bloom opened her eyes with a smile.

"So, did you locate him ?" asked Flora

"Yes, he's on the other side of the world in a country called Singapore. I've read about it in history books and it intrigues me. I've always wanted to visit but we did not have the money at the time" said Bloom.

"Well we don't need money cause you have me, I can get us there in an instant" said Stella.

"Hold on Stella we still have to prepare ourselves, we don't know how long we'll be there for" said Tecna.

"She's right Stella, I can confirm he's in Singapore but I don't know his exact location. It could take us days to find him so we'll have get ready" said Bloom.

"Looks like it's VACATION TIME!" said Stella.

All the other girls could do was face-palm.

Two days later

"You're sure you've got everything you need for your journey?" asked Faragonda.

"Yes headmistress, I don't know how long we'll be gone but I promise we will find him and bring him back safe" said Bloom.

"Very well then, I wish you the best of luck on your quest. Remember the people of that world have never seen magic before so it would be wise not to drop your cover" said Faragonda.
