The battle between Tecna and Jack was fierce. Jack's swordplay was good, really good. Tecna had no room to run away in order to think of a strategy. All she could do was counter Jack's hooks with her own pair of purple swords. James and Timmy created these weapons together for Tecna.

Thanks to James's teachings, Tecna could hold her own against her skilled opponent. Nonetheless the odds were still in Jack's favor and he was winning. Despite Tecna's enhanced strength as an enchantix, her opponent was winning in terms of technique and precision. Jack swung one hook at Tecna's left but she was able to stop it, Jack's right hook however knocked her on the head.
Quickly flying back, she aimed both her swords at Jack and it fired a purple electrical blast at him. The attack connected and it really gave Jack a shock. You could even see his skeleton if you looked closely. Quickly shaking off the paralysis he jumped on a rock and he went flying at Tecna with his hooks in a cross position. Tecna flew at her opponent with her own swords pointed at him and she soon collided with Jack, sending them both into the ground. Once the dust disappeared, it revealed Jack and Tecna standing on opposite sides. Suddenly Tecna winced in pain before collapsing to the ground in defeat.
"Tecna is out! Its not over yet though, according to the rules as long as your partner is still in the arena then the match continues! Its all up to James now!" announced Rayner.
Jack was hunching, soon he was limping towards the direction of his partner.
"James has taught you well Tecna, but he didn't teach you everything. Even so, that was a well played match. I look forward to our rematch" thought Jack.
Tecna looked up to see her opponent limping towards James's location.
"Sorry James, its all up to you now" thought Tecna before she fainted.
James's side
Nova was landing punches after punches at James but he just dodged every single strike. Suddenly James just grabbed Nova's right fist and started punching Nova with his own fist.
"Why are you hitting yourself? Why are you hitting yourself?" taunted James.
Nova soon got angry, his temper was rising. Unfortunately no matter how angry he was he couldn't break free from James's grasp. Soon both James and Nova heard Rayner's announcement of Tecna's defeat. James couldn't believe what he had heard, Tecna lost? It was unthinkable. Deciding he had enough fun and games, he threw Nova into the air before jumping up after him. James then landed a spinning punch at Nova's face which sent him out of the arena. Landing on the ground, he walked towards Jack's position.
"Now that is how you do a punch" thought James.
"Oh Nova is out! That punch definitely put Nova's version to shame! The match had now returned to its single format setting! Whichever once goes down or out is automatically the loser!" announced Rayner.
