The last time I updated this book was sixteen days ago. I've been promising speed-updates since before that chapter, yet I haven't gone to it.
Truth be told, the original storyline for this became stale, and I don't enjoy writing it anymore.
My original story focused mainly on the Shadow Knight part of Minecraft Diaries, but that really isn't what it is now. In fact, I was going to completely change the viewpoint of this book very soon, but I just don't have the motivation I used to.
Plus, I've seen the way people received this book and Estranged, my other MCD fan-fiction.
Shadow Knight's Revenge has twenty-eight chapters. Estranged has seven.
When Shadow Knight's Revenge had seven chapters, it had barely a hundred views. Estranged already has nearly 3K views. It's obvious which book is more popular. In fact, I really enjoy writing Estranged more than Shadow Knight's Revenge, and I want to focus on that more.
Either way, I really don't want to continue this book.
WAIT. DON'T CLICK OFF THE BOOK YET. I'M NOT DONE TALKING.
The fact I'm so far behind on the actual series demotivates me further, but I have a sort-of have a... compensation?
I have three ideas in mind:
a) Completely discontinue the book. No more chapters, no more nothing. It's the end of that.
b) Write a summary for the parts I missed, and then continue. I'll explain what happens between now and the current episode of MCD in short, and then continue writing the book normally. The reason I don't want to do this is because the book is going to become very boring and plotless if I do it. I might discontinue it either way.
c) Write the ending and leave the book in peace. Since I already have the ending planned, I'll write one last chapter to finish this book, and that chapter will also kind of explain what happened. This is actually the option I want to go for.
But it's your choice.
