Awkward

Chapter 1/The Changes

     Hi my name is Taylor Coots. I go to Middle School, 8th grade, 13 years old. My best friends that I only talk to who are: Katie, Blake, Conner, and Luke. I usually tell them everything, But I always tell Katie things that I don't tell the boys.

I'm telling u this story because this is my last year in Middle School and a lot of things change this year.

     "Get up Taylor, get up", Katie yelled.

"Just 1 more minute", as I was slapping Katie.

Actually five minutes later, I finally got up from my bed and started to walk to my closet, to get some clothes for today.

"Ready for today", Katie said all excitingly.

I was so confused what she was talking about. I was about to say something, but she interrupted me.

"We are gonna meet Blake, Conner, and Luke today at the Mall", Katie said.

I said "Go downstairs and get breakfast, I'll be down in a little bit", and she said ok.

So I put on my short shorts with holes in it, a teal crop top, and brown combat boots. I went to my vanity to curl my hair piece by piece, I put some of my makeup on to give my face a little shine. I put deodorant and perfume and brushed my teeth in my bathroom.

Then finally after an half an hour I came downstairs to find Katie who was now sleeping on the couch. I run over to slap Katie and wake her up, as soon as I did that, she was up faster than a cheetah.

I said "C'm, we'll be late to meet them."

So we walk down to the mall, since it's 5 minutes away from my house. And so, Katie said that we are meeting them at the Food Court for some odd reason. So when we got there, I see that they are waiting on a bench outside of the store. I saw Luke holding something small, like a ring in his hand, He comes over to me and he whispers into my ear,

"Should I give this to Katie or not?" And I said " Of course."

After that Luke walked over to Katie who was talking to Conner and Blake about when school was going to start.

After she saw the ring she started to cry, she took it and gave him a big bear hug. Conner went up to me and said "Hey." I said hi back. He asked me "Do you just wanna go to the movies with me, just us?"

I said "Sure", smiling.
