Awkward

Chapter 3/First Day Of School

     (Comment down any errors or mistakes that I have made and I'll fix that right away)

Taylor (P.O.V)

(A Week Later)

     So the alarm went off, it was 5:30 am. I went downstairs to get breakfast. I ate blueberry muffins with orange juice. Then I went back up to my room and brushed my teeth. I walked over to my vanity to turn on my teal curling wand. I waited for it to heat up and started to curl my hair piece by piece. After I was done with that I put on my makeup. I'm not going to go to deep in with my makeup. I still had my pjs on and so I went to my walk-in-closet to put on a teal bra, white tank top with a chevron shirt with black short shorts wearing teal converse. My dog, Sady was barking so I went downstairs to feed her. I'm heading upstairs to get on deodorant, perfume, and grabbed my book bag.

     I called Katie to tell her I was ready, she called back and said she was ready too! So her mom drove us to school where we met the boys.

     It was 7:40 am and we had to get to class. We all had the same classes together. First period was History with Mrs. Hilliard and rumors said it she was the best teacher ever, she lets you go on your phones. So then the bell rang and we were all in our seats. She gave us our permanent seats and I got to sit by Conner and Katie. I told myself that this year was going to be a great year. She gave us our first assignment and it was about making connections to humans. We couldn't pick our partners so she gave us partners. I had to work with Conner so It was going to be very awkward between us.

     She said it was due next Friday. Me and Conner started to stare at each other. The bell rung!!

Now I went to study hall, so that meant we could do anything we wanted to do. The teacher was Mrs. Snow and she was in her 80s. It was 48 minutes long.

     I took out my phone and started to text Katie who was in a different class than me. But Conner interrupted me and said "Do you want to work on our English assignment?" I said "Sure!"

     (After school)

     I decided I was going to walk home, today. And Conner started to catch up to me. Conner seemed so excited for some reason that I don't want to know. He waited a couple of seconds and answered back.

     He said" I know it's going to be weird when I ask you this question but here it goes!"

     I said confused "What?"

     He said back " Taylor will you go out with me?"

     "Yes!" I said shockingly! I've liked him since the 7th grade. But I thought it would be awkward for the group. Then I saw Blake hiding behind a bush recording that.

     I yelled "Blaaaaaaaaaaake!"

     He ran away back to the park. I looked at Conner and he shrugged his shoulders and we both luaghed. So then when I got home I went up to my room to call Katie and tell her the good news! As soon as she answered I said "Conner asked me out!" She screamed with excitement.
