Awkward

Chapter 2/Dating

Taylor's (P.O.V)

     After they hugged for what it felt like days, Luke finally asked her out. I've been waiting for this day since 6th grade. She was so shocked and said yes. We were all happy for her and Luke. So then them and Blake went to get some food while me and Conner looked for a spot to sit. It was real quick that we found a place to sit.

And we talked about what movie we were gonna see. We found out that we were gonna see A Table for Two. We discussed what time and day it was going to be. They finally found
us in about 10 minutes. They brought back a big bucket of curly fries and a bowl of cheese.

After 20 minutes of eating Conner, Blake, and I went to his house and Luke and Katie went to Luke's house.

As we walked up to the front door Conner tried to open the door, but it was locked so he had to knock on the door for his mother to answer. Then his mother answered and opened the door and saw him, Blake, and me. Her face was shocked.

She asked Conner who was I and he said I was one of his best friends out of five best friends. She was like, nice to meet you and shakes my hand.

Conner asked her " Is Taylor allowed in my room?",and his mom said it was fine.

So we went up to his room and I sat on his bed. Blake just crashed on the couch in his room. Conner just closed the door.

     Blake asked"What do you guys want to talk about?"

     It was silence for a while. Then all of of sudden.

     Conner says "Lets play What Are The Odds!"

     Me and Blake nodded and got into a circle on the ground. We decided that Blake was going first. And after he had to think about it, he picked Conner. He had to think about it some more. Then finally he said " What are the odds of you kissing Taylor!" In my head I was like, are you kidding me right now Blake.

     Conner and Blake said" 3,2,1. Conner said 3 and Blake said 4. I was relieved that I didn't have to kiss him.

I said "Well I'm done playing this game now, with Blake!"

So it was pretty much time to go home, so I said bye and everything. So I called my mom to pick me up. When she picked me up we went back to my house. I went through the hallway and up to my room where I locked the door. And got ready for bed. I looked on my IPhone 6, to see the time and it was 11 o'clock. I was like ok it's time for bed. So I tucked in my cozy twin size bed.

The next day

Bing, Bing, Bing. My alarm went off for 9 o'clock. I was so excited because it was the movie night with Conner, but then I realizes that I had this awful dream.

Conner and I were at the movies watching A Table For Two and aliens just came and took Conner and killed him. So now I am so scared for the movies but I know it's not real.

Hours went by so fast that it was already 6:00 and the movie started at 7. I had to get ready fast, it took me 40 minutes to get ready. Then like five minutes after Conner was at the front door ringing the bell.

I said " Well that timed out perfectly!"

So then I got into his mom's car and we're heading to the movie theater. When we got there, we went in to get the tickets, popcorn, and drinks. The staff said it was in theater 6 down the hall to the left. It was kinda awkward because we don't usually hang out, just the two of us. It was very dark when we got in, thank god it was the previews. I thought the movie started already but I was wrong. So we found a spot at the back of the room and sat down, there were a lot of people there.

So after the movie we went home, it was very awkward, I still don't know why though.

But when Conner dropped me off, I said thanks and all. So I went up to my room and literally just splatter on my bed and fell asleep because I was so tired.
