Awkward

Chapter 5/Making Connections

     I felt someone over me breathing. I tried to get up but her\him pushed me back down. I opened my eyes and you could not believe who it was, Conner. How did he get into my house, did mom let him in or did he break into the window. Either way I thought it was fine. His soft lips touched mine for the first time. The sun just set. It was so romantic, but I kept going. I liked it, no I loved it. The kiss lasted for like 20 seconds. He said "Good morning sunshine!" I smiled gently as I said "Right back at cha!"

     I sat up and he sat right beside me hugging me. I liked the feel of his soft hands. My mom called down "Time for breakfast everyone!" Conner and I walked downstairs and I could small the delicious blueberry pancakes. ( btw if you can't tell I love blueberry). After we were done eating Conner said "Get Ready, I want to show you something!" I said "K."

     I walked back upstairs to my room and got dressed. I put on slick skinny jeans over my underwear, with a breast cancer t-shirt over my sports bra, and UGS(boots).  I went to put my hair in a Dutch braid and put some makeup on. Then walked over to my bathroom to put on deodorant, perfume, and brushed my teeth. I grabbed my bag and headed downstairs to Conner who was waiting in the living room.

     He said "C'm, let's go, I'll think you'll like it!" I said okay. I followed him outside and to the park across from my house. I saw a blanket on the ground with a picnic basket on it. I was in shock and smiled so big my mouth started to hurt. He led me to where we were sitting.

     We both sat down and Conner took out some salad and plates. It was a while until we were done. And he asked me a question "How long have you've liked me?" I couldn't reply, all I did was just mumble. He asked me if I was ok and I freezed and ran back to my house
