Chapter 14: Her Special Tea

They are about to have an Expedition this time heading to Shiganshina District to reach Eren's old house where The Basement of Grisha Jeager, Eren's Dad was located. It is believed to have a lot of information about Titans existance and how to get rid of them.

Its been 2 weeks where they'd prepare for this. Formation of Squads and so on.

While Levi, Erwin, Hanji, and Mike were discusing something for some plans about their next expedition, Petra was secretly looking at them.

Auro, Eld, and Gunther are babbling about something while she was glancing at Hanji and Levi who sits next to each other. Hanji was oozing with so much excitement, which is not a surprise for them all as Levi quitely listen at her while sipping his Tea. Yeah, that Tea. Levi really likes Tea, and all of them knew it. Specially, Petra, who used to make Tea for him as always.

She is now engage with Aurou, but her feelings for Levi never changed. Or maybe she cant forget Levi because he was always everywhere. Even her Fiancee by himself imitate their Corporal. How the hell would she forget that? Though, Auro was more annoying when he tries to Imitate Levi, the poor guy never accept the fact.

Petra sighed remembering that Hanji and Levi isn't still together. Their relationship as a Comrades and Co-league never been in a good progress. The two even had a lot of arguments about everything more than before.

They saw Eren coming in their way with his gentle smile as he seat at Levi Squad's table since he's temporarily in to it. "How are you, brat? Peeing on your pants, eh?" Auro asked him with his natural annoying way of imitating Levi. Petra shakes her head in disbelief at her Fiancee as Eren shrugs. "E-er.. I'm trying not to.. He-he" He replied humbly with his sheepish smiles. It was his very first Expedition as a part of Recon Corps. Auro smirks crossing his arms and looking at Eren. "You must not. You know we hate filthy ones." Auro exlaimed with his pathetically way of copying his captain. "You're horrible, Auro!" Petra admonished patting Eren's back with a smile. "Its okay, you dont have to worry about anything. Humanity's Strongest was our Captain! We have a brave and tough Commander, and Humanity's Smartest was second in command right after Erwin!" She encouragely said to Eren with a smile. Eren smiled in return and finds a relief at Petra's words.

Hanji seats at their front next to Eren putting her right arms around him. Eren blushes as he flinch. "Don't worry, i wont bite you!" Hanji says with a laugh as she greets Levi's Squad. "Hi! I hope you're great guys!" She waved her other hand at them with a wide smile. They return those smiles back at her as she turns to Petra. "Oh, Petra, would you make me some Tea? I heard you're good at it!" She asked Petra with a smile as it smiles back at her blushing. "I-its my pleasure to do that, b-but.. I'm not really good at those." She replied humbly with her sheepish words. Hanji slapped her forehead in disbelief and sighed. "Oh Pah-lease! We all knew it right before you denied it!" She replied at her with a pleasing smile mouthing a word 'please'. Petra nods hesitantly and smiled at her. "Wait for me here then!" She stands up gently waying to the kitchen where Tea leaves are stocked.

"So.. Eren? Would you like to come with me, huh?" She asked him moving closer at Eren's face. Eren flushes red shades in return being this close at the lady who aged ahead from him.

"E-ehhh????!!!" Hanji jerks away from Eren being grab by her collars. "You shitty glasses, get off on that Brat!" Levi sternly said to Hanji as he threw death glares on her. Hanji burst out on laughing in return. "Fine, easy!" She scoffed back elbowing Levi's waist which made him grunt. Levi rolled his eyes on disbelief as Hanji stands up. "I'll go ahead, Petra had my Tea!" She cheerfully groaned as she walks out heading to the Kitchen.

There she saw Petra with a Tea cup on her hand. She smiles as she smells the fragrance of the hot liquid inside the cup. Petra's Tea always do stand out, no wonder Levi loved those. She whispered at her mind as she waves at Petra. "Oh! That smells a lot good!" She says as Petra handed her the Tea cup. "Careful, Major Zoe." She politely exlaimed with a smile as both of them leaned at the Kitchen's corner.

Awkwardness for Petra againts Hanji was always around. Intimidated by her height, confident, knowledge, Professionalism, being on the Second Command after Erwin and all. Plus the fact that she knew that her Captain was fond of the nerdy freak beside her.

"Uh, Major?" Petra perks up, breaking the silence. Hanji look down on her and smiles after sipping her Tea. "Yeah?" She replied with an innocent grin on her face. Petra's eyes starts to shifts everywhere because of the nervous she felt. She gulp as she take a deep breath. "D-do you still like.. Heichou?" Sweat was dropping all over her face as she made the question. Hanji stared at her dumbfounded. The silent went up for about a 30 seconds.

Petra cleared her throat to break the silence between them and starts to smile sheepishly. Did i offend Major Zoe? Well, its clear that the Commander and its Second in Command are having a great relationship. Its been 10 years, how can they stand not being together if they really liked each other like before? Maybe i was dellusional. You're messed up this time, Petra. She mutters at her mind at she sighed.

"I'm sorry, just don't--"

"Nah, its fine!"

Hanji cutted her words with a smile on her face. She straightend her eyeglasses and smiles brightly. "You really made a good Tea." She mutters in an almost whisper tone as she faces Petra. Petra just gave her a questioning look, not knowing what Hanji wants to point out maybe. "Levi likes Tea, i couldn't make some good at it." She continued speaking while staring at the remaining Tea at the cup.

"I can never be the type of girl he wants, Petra." Hanji sighed.

"That's more good to put at." she added with finishing her Tea.

Petra's face frown at the moment. "You're wrong, Major Zoe." She mutters undertone.

"Thanks for the Tea! They are so much good!" Hanji waved her hands going out of the room with a smile.

TIME SKIP

While on their Expedition, they encountered The Female Titan on their way. Sooner they'd discovered that it was searching for Eren that is on Levi's Squad at the moment.

Since Levi was told to meet Erwin inside the Forest, his Special Operation Squad made their way into it. Since the Female Titan knows that Eren was with them, it tried to follow them even inside the forest. Surprisingly, Hanji and Erwin together with some Scout regiment was waiting for the Female Titan with a Trap for planning to capture it. They did capture it as expected, but when Eren and Levi's Squad left without their Captain, The Female Titan shout, drawing Titans to come after her and made herself eaten by it so that she could follow Eren.

Following Eren, Levi's Squad was firmly told that they should protect Eren at any risk. They face the Female Titan with their great team work! But, then again, they failed.

The Female Titan killed Gunther, Eld, Petra, and Auro on instant.

They are all headed back to Trost with a Hopeless face, failure minds.

While walking, Petra's Dad came to talk to Levi, mistaking that He was the one who's Petra was talking about getting married. He thanked Levi for appreciating His Daughter's skills. Poor man, he doesn't even know that His daughter was dead.

Levi was staring outside the window with a troubled mind. He hated that His men died in vain. His Special Operation Squad who'm he picked by himself because of their professionalism was all wiped out on an instant!

Hanji came to him with a worried face. She knows that its painful for Levi to lose another comrade just like what happened to Isabel and Farlan, who died on their first Expedition. She wanted to comfort him.

"Levi?" She perked up standing beside him. Levi sighed and looks away. "Not now, Four eye" He snorted. Hanji stared at him and looks down. "I'm sorry about your lost." She admonished with a sigh. Levi's eyes widened.

"No ones ever gonna make a Tea for you. Her Special Tea its so delicious. I'm sorry that we didn't manage to bring her body with us. Hontouni Gomen." She followed with a deep harsh sighed.

Levi turns his face at Hanji and hugged her very tight. Hanji's eyes widened in surprise and her cheeks suddenly filled with red shades.

"Y-yeah.. She made a very good Tea." Levi mutters with shaking voice. Hanji willingly accept his hug and throws it back to him, hugging him tightly.

"I know that i can't make Tea as good as Her Special Tea, but i'll try Levi." She mutters softly between their hugs.
