Chapter Eight: That stings like a venom

They are all gathered now in a neat hall, together with a Tall Blonde Man, with his Fluffy eyebrows, he is Erwin Smith, the 13th Commander of Survey Corps.

A tall man with a dingy blonde hair hanging from his eyes which looks like its needed to be wash sitting beside him, he's tall as well, Squad Leader Mike Zacharius. Levi hated his 'Sniffing attitude', he usually did that when he barely know someone, and then he'll gave a smirk. Hanji would wonder if it has a meaning, but she wont be dealing with that too much, she's now sitting at the left side, with Levi at her side.

They were about to discuss some proposals about their next expedition, and probably, Hanji's first expedition.

She wailed  in excitement, she would finally go into an adventure beyond the walls. It excites her so much that she is now facing her first expedition as a Member of Survey Corps, and a Squad Leader in an expedition.

Her amusement was overflowing based on her smiles, laughs, and grins, its also sounds weird and creepy.

As usual, Levi was disgusted in her freaky attitude. Well, some part of saying he's complete after 2 years of missing it, but he doesn't have a face to admit it.

The Humanity's Strongest sits there with a usual uninterested bored face as he listens at Erwin, word by word.

"So, its now settled, the 35th Expidition will be on, 3 weeks from now." Erwin stated with a mild but firm tone of voice.

He sits and starts to fold the Map when he saw Hanji staring at him creepy.

She furrows her eyebrow and raised one of it in confussion, she puffed her cheeks while thinking something, but she look funny at their eyes.

Specially at Erwin. He raised one of his Fluffy eyebrows as he stared at Hanji while she's in the middle of thinking.

"Squad leader Zoe, what is it you're thinking?" He interupt Hanji's thought as he speaks at her.

Hanji smiled and grin like a 10 year old child who's hiding someone's shoes at her back. "I don't think you wanna hear them." She replied with a chuckle making all of them stare at her.

Levi rolled his eyes and clicked his tongue. "Its all about begging to catch a Titan with her." He says in a monotone voice.

Hanji shook her head and laugh. "No Corporal Shortcake, its not about that this time, but.. I'll add that on my list." She said with a wink as Levi sighed. Wow, look what I've done, i gave her an Idea, just wow! He thought to himself.

Erwin smirk watching the two. They look like a childhood lover who grew up and starts hating each other. He thought to himself between those smiles when he caught Levi staring sharply at him with his eyebrow raised, probably, knowing what Erwin's thought is up to, Since they knew each other given that 2 years of duty at Survey Corps, they tend to have a great bond at each other. They can signal each other using Eye contact and gestures, also, they can read someones smiles, and by Erwin's smiles? Levi knows what behind of it and he gave Erwin a look with meanings 'Snap out of it'.

Erwin cleared his throat. "Really, so what is it? It might be a great help for the next expedition." He asked Hanji with a calm voice. Well Erwin was an Irony of Levi, though he's Strict and Serious as Levi does, when it comes to a social connections, he's far beyond Levi. Erwin was calm, he can smile and he under goes everything in plan, plus the fact that he is tall.

Hanji smiled wide as she turns her face at him. "You have a cute Eyebrows, Erwin!" She admonished with a smile. Erwin's face flushed with a bright pink due to embarrassment, as Levi's forehead grouch.

His annoyance urge up as he steps at Hanji's back grabbing her collar at the back , dragging her out.

Erwin didn't get a chance to speak up, he remained stiffened as he watch Levi drags Hanji out of the room. Mike chuckled in the moment. "Wow, he must really know how to handle her." He said as he threw his glance at Erwin who let out a sigh. He knew that his Eyebrows are fluffy, all of the New Cadets and some of them talking about it as he turns his back, but no one has a guts to babble it up. Now, there's someone who's freak can bother him about it.

Later on, he laughed at himself. "Seems like Petra lost her chance." He said as he shakes his head. Mike raised his brow.

"How could you tell?" He asked Erwin. Mike had his bond with Hanji a while ago, Hanji was freak, loud, and crazy.

Basically, Levi and Hanji was a complete Irony. In the other hand, they all knew about Petra's feelings for Levi, she would go around telling information about Levi, his attitude, and why he was the 'Humanity's Strongest'. They sometimes bring it up to Levi to tease him, it seems working that he became annoyed and angry when they pick it up.

"Don't you know? Levi and Hanji are classmates at the Military Training before, Their Commander says the two had a great connection, even though they had a multiple arguments dealing with each others personality, he clearly see that Levi cared for Hanji, and the thought of seeing each other for even 2 years? Its like destiny is,real." He chuckled at his statements, as Mike wide his eyes and smirk. "Levi is taugh lover boy now huh?" He replied as Erwin smirks and sigh. "Well since Hanji saw my Eyebrows as cute, I hope I wont get in the way." He joked as Mike pokerfaced.

"H-hey! Levi! Stop!" Hanji yelled at Levi while being drag harassingly. Levi never stops dragging her as they reached the  placed at HQ's backyard and threw her gently at the Tree.

Hanji wide her eyes as she leans there, the sun was about to set down and the skies were now becoming red-orange.

Levi was tilting his head down as he walks at the side of the Tree to watch the perfect view of the sunset. Hanji stares at Levi with her forehead knotts in confussion.

"what's with the stare?" Levi interupt her as he spokes as Hanji's cheeks burnt up. "u-uh.. I was.. Wondering if y-your fine?" She replied with a question with her stammering words.

Levi stared blankly to her meeting her chocolate eyes. "Do I look like I'm not fine?" He replies blankly. Hanji raised her brow at him. "Why did you drag me here?" She puffed her cheeks and pout her lips. "I'm not yet finished at Commander Eyebrows!" Levi sighs violently as he steps closer at Hanji, leaning his hand at the side of her neck. Hanji stood up there in surprise, Levi stand on his tiptoe as he reached the ears of the tall Woman in his front and whisper.

“Stop giving nicknames to others aside from me.. That stings like a Venom to hear and see.”
