Chapter Nine: Jealous Of You

Hanji stared at her ceiling while lying at her bed as she touch her forehead. She's been feeling warm since Levi walked out of her from that tree earlier.

She furrowsed her eyebrow while remembering the scene.

"Stop giving nicknames to others aside from me.. That stings like a venom to hear and see."

The words of Levi echoed inside her head making her eyes shut. "I dont understand you at all Shorty! All the time you were cruel .. And then.. One time.. You're being sweet.." She sighed as she spokes at herself. "You're so unpredictable.. Why do you have to be so complicated?" She added as she turns at her side facing the window and sighed dramatically.

She flushed bright pink remembering the scenario earlier.

Hanji's eyes widened with those words of Levi and his warm breath drifted at her ears.

Levi pulled away as he stares at Hanji's eyes, she couldn't help but blush.

"L-levi.. W-what are you.." She was about to ask Levi when he cut him. "I said don't ever give nicknames to anyone aside from me!" His voice was as sharp as blade burrying at Hanji's head. She couldnt help but nod yes in his selfish request.

Levi walked away from her and she touched her face because it was freaking warm.

"are you.. Jealous..?" She whisper at herself watching Levi walked away.

She sighed and shakes her head back and forth and grabs her sketch note with a Sketches of Titans. She stoically shift the pages and finally see a portrait of a man.

His eyes are slotted and sharp, with her raven smooth hair with a clean hair cut. There's a date at the back of it.

Year 837

She draw it 3 years ago, 1 year before their Military Training ends. Its the time when she starts to grew a feelings for Levi.

She was sitting at the tree where Levi always lean to have a perfect view at the sky, he was sitting beside her at that time while she was secretly sketching his face.

She smiled as she was staring at these portrait. "You know what shortcake? I like you.. Since the 3rd week of our training.. Didn't you know? Why were you so cold?" She sighs and pouts. "Are you sure that Petra isn't your Girlfriend?" She asked the portrait like it was really going to answer her. She dramatically sighed again and laugh at her self. "You're horrible Hanji.. You're now talking to a Portrait!" She laughed at her self.

She stares at the window and smiles. The stars were shining and she decided to go out since the wind breeze is cold.

While walking at the hallways she reached the door of Levi and stare at it. There's a light inside of it making Hanji noticed that he's still up.

She was about to knock when one female voice interupt her. "Squad leader Zoe?"

She jumped in surprise as she looks at the Ginger haired girl who was now standing at her side with a smile. "Hey-" She ask Petra as she smiles as Petra silenced her with her fingers as she put it on her mouth.

Hanji nods as a signal that she get whats her point. Petra drag her outside as she holds her right arm. It wasn't too tight to hurt her, but isn't too lose as well.

After running, they reached the Archives as they pant to together gasping for air. They recovered meanwhile and they took a seat at the vacant chairs there.
