The welcoming feast was magnificent. It was filled with firelight and laughter. Allison was catching up with old friends and welcoming the first years. She sat towards the back among others that were in the same year.

"Are you trying out for quidditch team this year?" The boy next to Allison, Brady asks.

"Most likely, but no promises!" She shouts. The great hall was filled with loud voices and boisterous laughter.

Allison had been on the quidditch team for two years now. She was a very accomplished chaser. She was very skillful on a broom and loved the thrill of flying. She could weave through other players while avoiding the bludger and could successfully get the quaffle through the rings.

Meanwhile, at the Gryffindor table, the Marauders were stuffing their face with food. James shoveled vegetables in his mouth, Sirius ate chicken legs, Peter was scarfing down rolls, and Remus was cutting up a rare steak.

"Is that even safe to eat?" A first year next to him inquired. Remus was about to take a bite of his steak, but he turned his attention to the first year.

"Indeed it is. Can you guess what kind of meat this is?" Remus asks as he leans in to talk to the child. The boy shrugged.

"It's human. I butchered the boy yesterday so it's quite fresh." Remus added darkly. The boy looked at him fearfully.

"Go sit with the other first years." He ordered. The young boy nodded and ran off to the other end of the table.

"That was harsh Moony." James hummed.

"He smelled awful. My sense of smell is not always a gift." Remus grumbled as he took a bite of his steak.

Remus was a werewolf, which few knew. His heightened senses had helped the Marauders escape crime scenes without getting caught, he helped them to find lost items or targets for their pranks, specifically Severus Snape. His scent was hardwired into his brain from the many times that he was forced to locate him.

Then, Allison was on his mind. He remembered her scent and to say the least it was intoxicating. She smelled of citrus, mint, and lavender with a mix of the distinctive smell of a woman.

He smelled a trace of her on himself because her skirt was stuck with his clothes. He had folded it nicely and places it among his things so that he would be able to return it to her whenever he saw her next.

The next morning, Remus was up early. He took a shower, to help wake himself up, and then he was off to breakfast. He walked slowly with his hands in the pockets of his pants. His wet hair fell into his eyes and he brushed it away with his long fingers.

Allison's schedule wasn't much different. Her hair was wet and was darker. It fell to her lower back. She was in just her skirt, socks, and white button up under the sweater vest. She walked into the Great Hall, the smell of sweet syrup, bacon, and other foods hit her like a brick wall.

From the Gryffindor table, Remus was silently eating his food. Then the most lovely smell overloaded his senses. The smell of Allison. He lifted his head and turned to the entrance of the Great Hall. There she stood with wet hair and her cheeks were rosy. With every step she took, her skirt revealed the creamy skin of her thighs and Remus felt something in him stir.

"Oh, good morning Remus!" She called. Allison was happy to see him again.

"Morning." Moony responds. She sat next to him at the Gryffindor table.

"I know I'm not supposed to be here, but we just wont tell anybody. It'll be our secret." She smiles. Remus chuckled softly and nodded.

"Oh, before I forget, I have your skirt. It-"

"How'd you get my skirt? I was looking for it." Allison interrupts.

"I must have accidentally grabbed it when I took my clothes from you, when I tied your tie. It looks pretty good today." Remus complimented.

"I actually didn't tie this. I had one of the other girls in the dorm do it for me." She says coyly. Remus smiled at her.

They ate their breakfasts together conversing about random topics. Allison thought Remus's hair looked positively adorable. It was messy because it was drying. It was up in all directions and she found herself smiling.

"What is that look about?" Remus asks curiously.

"I'm smiling at your hair. It looks good when it's messy." She compliments. Moony couldn't help but blush at that. Allison must have realized it sounded like she was flirting with him.

"Hey, what's your schedule?" She changed the subject. Remus pulled out a piece of parchment and she compared hers to his.

"We have Dark Arts together this afternoon and Divination on Wednesday. Astronomy Thursday and Dark Arts again on Friday." She says cheerfully.

Remus felt happy that she was going to be in some classes with him. Even though he would never admit it, he was infatuated with the happy girl. He loved her smile, her scent, and inviting personality.

Allison was feeling similarly. She thought Remus was kind and gentle. He was a little awkward, but she thought it was cute. She absolutely adored his eyes. They were a brilliant green that seemed to brighten when he was amused.

"Well, I best be off to get ready for first period." Allison said once people started filling in for breakfast.

"Yes. I'll see you this afternoon." Remus nodded. They parted ways, the both of them excited to share so many periods with the other.

Remus watched her as she left the Great Hall and he was in a trance as he watched the swaying of her hips when she walked. Her hair was now dry and bounced with every step. She walked with grace and confidence, something that he admired in her.

She's too good for me. Remus thought with a frown.
