"Hey O the guys changed the meeting from LA to Miami." Damn "Alright get our tickets transferred and get on us some rooms" she looks up from her phone "It's already done boss. Our flight leaves in the morning now instead of tonight and you and Zola will be set up in a double bed room." I nod "Thanks Amber I'll see in the morning'

I walk in the house to Jayla yelling "So what you're trying to tell me is I'm the only one in this family not running behind people with my nose stuck up they ass!" I walk all the way in the house. D and Jordan sitting on the couch and Jay pacing back and forth. Jordan sitting with her knees to her chest, crying. D sitting on the opposite end rubbing her stomach and her left temple. "Whats wrong with y'all?" Jayla stops and turns around to face me then points at Jordan "Ask her!" Jordan sniffles "Whats wrong?" I ask kneeling down to her. I put my hand on hers to comfort her. She sniffles again and wipes some tears away with her other hand "I.. I'm pregnant."

"You need to man up!" I stand behind her "Shut up Jay!" D says sitting on the tub waiting for the results on test. Jordan's sitting on the sink with it in her hand. I'm in the doorway and Jayla is walking back and forth in the hallway. "What does it say" I ask trying to look "Yea?" She says looking over my shoulder "It says two to three weeks!" D covers her mouth "August are you serious?" This nigga "He's the dad?!" Jay says sounding unsure, Jordan hops down off the counter "Im sure he is" She walks in the room and closes the door. I look at D who's still just sitting on the edge of the tub. I look back at Jayla who's fussing at all of us.

"So not tonight?" Zola says sounding disappointed "No but early morning I'll be there to pick you up our flight leaves at 7:15." I hear the smile in her voice "Ok so Miami it is I can't wait and thanks for being understanding!" I clear my throat when one of my teammates comes into the gym "Yea I mean I respect you and I want you to be happy that's all that matters." My homeboy looks at me "Ok well see you in the morning!" "Aight" we hung up "Damn O you droppin out of the race already?" I laugh "Man I'm not bout to lose my life." He laughs

"I never took you for a punk O!" He says throwing one back then rubbing his neck to calm the burn of the shot of Gin he had taken. I throw one back myself "I'm not a punk!" He laughs again "Could've fooled me. Why you taking her ass with you?" I shake my head and take another shot "Stop trippin X she good!" He shakes his head "You scared of her pops you better get yours while you can!" X is extremely aggressive towards woman. He's never lose a case but there's been several cases of him abusing women. "I'm not you nigga shut the fuck up!" He laughs "You'll never be me but watch that little girl use you!" He grabs his last shot then gets up and walks off.

I hear screaming and jump out of the bed. "Who's here?" I ask thinking I'm at home and realize I was at Jordan and Jayla's place. I look in on Jayla but she ain't in her room. I go to Jordan's room but she isn't there. "The fuck is going on?" I walk inside the living room and see D sitting on the floor crying. I get down "Yo what happen!?" I get down next to her "I loss the baby Odell I lost the baby" was all she could say.

My alarm wakes me. I don't know why I just had that dream. I call D "Mmm hello?" She still sleep "You and the baby good?" I hear snoring in the background "We good why whats wrong?" I clear my throat "I just had a dream. Is that Chris?" I hear her get up "Don't trip O we went to go find out the sex of the baby and he came back over here to chill. He ended up falling asleep talking to the baby." I laugh this girl ain't gone learn "Alright DeAndrea" "Bye O" I laugh again "See ya later D!" We hang up.

After my shower I call Zola to make sure she's up and to my surprise she sounds wide awake. I get off the phone with her and call Amber to confirm she's already at the airport. I grab my bag and keys then head to Alexis house. "Come in give me ten minutes my bags already packed by the door if you wanna grab them." She smiles and walks to the back. I grab her suitcase and tote then walk them to the car. I close the trunk and look up. Alexis and Zola are standing by the front end of my car. "Here are my keys since your car isn't working and call August he knows a guy to fix it for cheap." She hugged her neck "Thanks Zo and I'll call him."

"You ready to go to Miami?" I ask looking at Zola then back at the road, she smiles. "I'm excited I can't wait for the beach!" She blushes and the sunrise hits her face in the perfect way. Damn X's words start to brew. I shake it off I know what I got to do. We get to the airport and go thru customs. Then we meet up with Amber, X and a few other people and board the plain. "Listen Odell I don't want you to feel as if I'm taking advantage of you." That was random "What would make you say that?" She sighed "I over heard your teammate talking about me." I look back at X "Who him? Don't pay X no attention he has some kind of hatred towards women." I laugh at the thought because I never said that shit now I realize it. "If anything you need to be cautious of August." Regretting the words as soon as they escaped my lips. She frowns "What you mean." I shake my head "Nothing it's only a two hour flight just relax."
