Chapter 4

Everyday was basically the same day over but different of course. Friday came around and Lizzy and James got around to talk about tonight.

"I was thinking about 'The Everest' it looks sooo good." Lizzy says.

"Yea, I think it's on Netflix. I seen the trailer for it looks sick."

"Yea, hey I want to practice this weekend I'll tell Mason on my way to science."

"Okay. I'll see you after school, wish we had at least a class together."

"Yea same. I'll talk to you laters."

Lizzy went to her locker to get her books for her first hour class. She saw Mason at his locker talking with new friends of his. Lizzy walked over to him to talk to him. She tapped him on the shoulder to get his attention. "Hey, what's up." Mason asked.

"Oh, nothing much. Can I talk to you in private for a sec."

"Sure"

They both went into the computer lab that is connected to the library. They sat down near the back.

"Okay, on Saturday we need to let you know more about Thamuz and what's happening. We also need to help you learn your powers more."

"Yea, okay. I got nothing going on tomorrow."

"Okay, thanks, see ya. My place."

After Lizzy said that she went off to chase down her friends that were in the hall. They were all in one big circle talking about stuff. Lizzy really didn't like keep such a big secret from her best friends. It hurt her. Her best friends say 'you can tell me anything and everything no matter what it is' and it hurts her that she can't. If she does Thamuz might actually find out who she cares and loves. And who knows what that could come out of that. She didn't want to find out.

Lizzy was in the second row from the left and third seat back. Lilli one of her best friends was right next to her to the right, and Mason was right behind Lizzy.

"I heard there is a new kid in town," Lilli says.

"That'd be me," Mason says sarcastically.

"Idiot, she means new like new today," Lizzy replied.

The new kid walked in with the councilor and the councilor introduced him to the our English teacher name Mr. Patts.
From there the councilor left and the teacher introduced us to the new kid, "This is Thomas. And you'll be sitting behind Lilli."

"This is gonna be fun.." Lizzy said telepathically.

"What why?"

"Thomas, sounds and looks a lot like Thamuz..."
