Flashness the Secret Emerges

Chapter 9

I was in a the branches of the middle tree. The branches were laid like a bed.

I heard walking steps and shouted out. "Go away James!"

"It's not James." Jason said.

"We are Jason and Mason." Mason finished.

"Oh," I said.

They looked up and I was in my own world up there in the tree.

"Are you gonna come down or do we have to come and get you." Jason said.

"I wanna see you try." With a smile on my face. My eyes turned color to a light color yellow with a hint of green.

I started to get up and I see Mason start to climb up. I then started to climb higher up. They were really slow climbing up here. I was at the point were I couldn't climb anymore. And they finally caught up with me. We hung out in the tree. The sunset finally set and we could see a full view of it up there in the tree.

The three of us then saw smoke coming from the horizon.

"What's that? We better go and check it out." Jason said.

We started climbing down the tree when all of a sudden I disappeared and I was so close to the smoke I couldn't see. Then I saw things clearly a little bit. Then I saw Thamuz's helpers and something blew up behind me and I was flown a few meters. And crashed into a tree and fell. I looked up and Thamuz was there and my vision was blurry then he grabbed me by the collar of my shirt, and dragged me upwards so I could stand. He made me walk with him and I suddenly passed out.

I saw Mason and Jason run towards me and I was kinda worried.

"Hey guys what's up?"

"There's something going on over there," Mason said pointing over across the creek were its more hilly.

"Okay, where's Lizzy?" I asked.

"Dunno she just vanished."

"Ohh.. She got her teleport magic."

"Let's go now."

We then ran towards the smoke. I could barely see but I put on my night vision on so I could see. I saw my father caring someone from by their shirt. It was Lizzy she looked miserable she looked so beat up. All of a suddenness smoke was cleared because of the wind, Jason had the magic of wind. I tried to throw ninja stars at Thamuz but the ninja stars just reflected back. It was Lizzy's shield she was protecting herself.

"Why did Thamuz do that? What happened?" Mason asked.

"It's not Thamuz its Lizzy."

Thamuz then put Lizzy on one of his shoulders and carried her that way.

"Lizzy had the instinct power to reflect objects to protect her. Just like how she protected you when we first met. She thinks she's in harm when I throw the ninja stars."

"Even though she's not she's in danger with him." Jason said.

"She won't wake up anytime soon." Thamuz said. "There was a bomb that went off and she flew a few meters and knocked her head pretty hard." He continued.
