I got bored doing the third person stuff in this story so I decided to go in first person of Lizzy. I might down the road change point of views to the second main character which is James. I also changed Lizzy's age she is 16 not 15, and James is 17. Lizzy, James, and Mason are Juniors.

I woke up on a leather couch with a thick wool blanket over me. I smelt some bacon, eggs, and what smelt like pancakes. I sat up and rubbed my eyes to clear my vision. I took off the blanket and walked into James kitchen. He was cooking us breakfast.
"Good morning sleepy head," James said to me while I sat down on a stool in his kitchen, at his breakfast bar. He continued. "I made us waffles, eggs, and bacon. I thought you'd be hungry. Your favourite breakfast."
"It all looks delicious. I forgot you can cook like this." I said.
"You haven't been over here, when I cook in a long time."
"True, true."
"Here you go, all done."
He handed me the plate with one big waffle, two eggs, three pieces of bacon, and a glass of milk. He sat by me he laid down his plate he had two waffles, two eggs, four pieces of bacon, and a glass of orange juice.
"You fell sleep awfully fast last night since you had a nap. You okay?" James asked me.
"Yea, sorry about that.. I don't know why, but I'm okay I feel fine."
"Okay cause you usually don't sleep like that or that long."
"Well I'm a heavy sleeper."
"Yea I know."
We finished eating our breakfast and we went over to my house. On our way to my house we say Mason and invited him to come so we can practice. We three went in to a small place were it has plains and a small forest and creek on the far side of the land. There were dead trees in the middle of the field we went there and cleaned it out and set a blanket down so we don't have sticks and leaves sticking to us. James and I explained to Mason who and what Thamuz is. Why he is hear and why.
"Well that's rude," Mason said.
"Well yeah, he's pretty much the devil," James said.
"So apparently I got my own dagger somewhere and that's mine." I said. "So if I find it and Thamuz takes it away from me and he stabs me with both of them I die and he gets my powers, and vice-versa... If that's an option..the daggers r protected by a shield from the person who owns it. Like dark the dark dagger is protected with dark magic and if light touches it, the dagger would disappear or something, and.. Vice-versa. But I read another way is that if we both have the daggers and we stab each other we both die and peace is made..pretty much.
"Well then,"Mason said confused and scared.
"Yea" James said. "Also, we need to keep watch to make sure we have an eye on Thamuz because if he finds out who Lizzy cares about he'll harm them and then Lizzy will want to save them, then powers grow then faster Thamuz will want to kill Lizzy."
"But don't we want my powers to grow so I can defeat him?"
"Damn" James said. "Whatever... Still gotta be carful.. Considering he shifted from his normal form to a teenage guy."
I saw some guy come out of a portal type thing with a long machete and throwing knives on his battle armour. He was fighting some time of demon. Then the demon disappeared and the dude, put his machete back and looked at us and smiled.
"Hello?" James asked.
"Who are you?" I continued to ask.
"Hey! Finally you made it. Gosh took you awhile. " Mason said this guy.
James and I turned to James with a questioned look. "His Jason of course!" Mason said.
"Oh my god, wow, hi." I laughed a little bit.. What an entrance you make there,"
Us four then talked and learned that Jason known about this for almost a year. He's been trying to fight the demons off but Thamuz just brought more and more so Jason couldn't handle all of them anymore. So now all four of us are trying to defeat Thamuz.
