"I think your over exaggerating."

Seriously?

"I'm not at all actually." I repeat picking up the pace a little to catchup with Cora as we jog through Beacon Hills. Her ignorance is bliss method isn't working so much for me. "He'll be fine." She says reluctantly causing me to stop all together. Why does she always have to be so ignorant? I swear one day I'm gonna punch her in the face.

Noticing me stopped in our tracks she turns around finally giving the problem at hand some consideration. The sun is setting slightly over the tree top covered woods that we're almost out of. "What are you waiting for?" She asks annoyed as a I stand with my arms crossed over my chest and an eyebrow raised at her. "He'll be fine..." I quote her words a moment ago. "Have you not met Derek? He's not just going to be 'fine' with me showing up at his house." I explain as if it's the most obvious thing in the world. Which honestly, it kind of is.

I mean our entire family is pretty unemotional, but when Cora found me a couple of months ago even she flipped out. Now picture Derek thinking I've been dead this entire time and me casually appearing on his front porch like 'hey what's up it's been awhile' maybe I could get away with that from Uncle Peter, but not my bother.

Not after blaming himself for my death for eight years.

Cora already confronted Derek, not by choice however. Apparently some psycho alpha pack threw her into a vault for three months with one of Derek's betas and when they went to rescue him they also found her. Which in turn led to a series of events where Cora chose to leave.

But since finding out I'm alive she's explained everything to me for the past couple years. This all taking place while I've been trapped inside of Eichen House. Since the cops found me in the woods alone a few days after the fire, I had to be around seven maybe eight and me being nothing supernatural I couldn't just flee the scene like the rest of my undead family.

Long story short about five months ago I finally escaped from that psyche-ward and Cora caught my scent from a few towns away.

"Guess we'll find out." She explains as we walk a few more steps leading out of the forest. This should be interesting.
