Chapter 6

After mine and Jason's nap, my mom came in and talked to me while Jason had a talk with his dad.

My mom had just told me to let my wolf help guide my decisions with my relationship with Jason, but not give her full control. Then it could result in her doing something I'm not ready for.

She also told me to be careful and that what ever time Jason and I decided to finish the mating process, to tell her. That she wasn't going to be mad or upset, she just wanted me to be safe for future reference.

I also found out that when it's a couples first time, the girl can't get pregnant, so I wouldn't have to worry about that. After we erm do it, our scents will be on each other and I will have my first shift about 2 days after. Then after my shift, I'll going into heat for a week. Plus I would have to deal with Luna stuff. So I would have to plan alllll this out perfectly. I figured I would let Jason claim at the beginning of November, the same month as my birthday, it was also a week and a half away. That gave me enough time right? My wolf seemed to think so.

I was now following Jason through his house because he wanted me to meet his beta and one of his friends.

We stopped at a bedroom door and Jason turned to me. "Okay be prepaired for this. Dustin is a bit...rowdy. Conrad however shouldn't be too much of a problem. Ready?" he asked. I nodded and he opened the door, allowing me to step in first.

Instead of a bedroom, I found a game room that 2 teenaged werewolves were occupying. The game room was a simple game room that you could find in any wealthy persons house. On the wall the door was on there was a silver entertainment center that a 50 inch plasma flat screen TV was docked on. There was a cable box settled on one of the shelves along with an X-box and many other game systems. in front of the TV were two boys sitting on game chairs, now pausing their game. Behind the game chairs was a long coffee table that had coasters and pop cans on top of it along with a couple of remote controls. Then behind the coffee table was a silver, soft looking sectional. next to the sectional, by the Sheas lounge were two 4 foot DVD racks that were filled with many different choices of movies. Then in each corner of the ceiling there were speakers that I guessed were hooked up to the Tv for the surround sound. It was a pretty chill room.

The boys snapped their heads up and the one with shagy black hair shot up and embraced me in a tight hug, earning a low growl from Jason. This must be Dustin. I hugged him back awkwardly and we stood there like that for a good couple seconds before he finally set me down on my feet. He stepped back and had a smirk on his face, making me figure he held on longer because of Jason. I rolled my eyes and slapped Dustin's shoulder.

"Ow! What was that for?" he cried out, rubbing his shoulder, though I knew I hadn't hit him very hard.

"Leave my mate alone. I wouldn't test his paitence if I were you. Keep that up and you won't have arms by the end of the day...or balls..." I warned him. He stated at me in shock and Jason and the boy I suposed was Conrad, broke out in laughter.

"S'not funny guys." Dustin mumbled, plopping down on to the couch behind him with his shoulders slumped and his bottom lip gutted out into a fake pout. I smiled and realized that after only a couple minutes of being around this boys, I was already comfortable.

"I think you will fit in just fine when you meet the other guys." Conrad told me after he and Jason stopped laughing. I smiled shyly and nodded. Conrad was an inch or two shorter than Jason while Dustin even shorter. thought, both boys were very well muscled and thick. Conrad had sharper features than Dustin and looked actually kind of scary.

"I'm Conrad, Jason's future third in command." he offered his hand for me to take it, and the second my hand clasped around his outstretched one, waves of shock went through my body. I went to jerk my hand back at the sensation but I found that I couldn't move. My eyes found Conrad's widened ones and something clicked. It was almost like that time I met Jason. Oh god...please tell me I don't have two mates...

-No silly. You don't have two mates.- My wolf assured me calmly, but I could sense her buzzing with excitement.

'Then what is this?' I asked her, my recent starting panic dying down. I could hear Jason asking what was going on but it seemed Conrad was caught in same trance as I was.

-He's our protector. He will protect you when Jason is unable too. He will be a friend, a brother, a listener, anything we need, he will be it, second to our mate of course.- She explained. My protector...I like the sound of it.

~Eliza?~ Conrad questioned into my head. What the...

'Conrad?' I asked, confused. 'What are you doing in my head?'

-Calm down Eliza, it's part of the protectors bond. Just go with it.- My wolf urged.

~I guess I'm your protector. Crazy right?~ I could hear his chuckle laced with his words. I smiled mentally.

'Yeah I know.' I agreed.

-Eliza, I'm going to take over alright? And Conrad's wolf is going to take over him too. It's so we can get this cleared alright?- My wolf asked. I nodded to her and felt her push me gently aside and into my straight on conscious.

"Lexie, would you allow me the honor to be your protector?" Conrad, or should I say his wolf, asked.

I nodded. "Yes Logan. Serve me well my warrior." I found myself saying. My wolf traded places with me and reality snapped back into place.

"Okay, the fuck just happened?" Dustin asked, looking between Conrad and I. Jason gave him a hard look for some reason and I opened my mouth to speak, but no words came out. Conrad smiled and kissed the back of my hand before answering.

"I am her protector." he stated simply, ignoring the growl from Jason at his affectionate gesture. This was so weird. I felt like I had known Conrad forever.

~It's the bond princess.~ his voice flowed through my head. My eyes snapped to his and he just smiled.

"Well I'm glad it's you man." Jason said, slapping Conrad on his back. He smiled.

"It's nice to have your approval Jason."

Jason smiled and made his way to me. He put his hands on my waist and lowered his forehead on to mine.

"You alright pretty girl?" he asked with concern. Despite what just happened yeah.

"Yeah I'm fine. Can we play video games?" I asked him, eyeing the X-box behind Dustin, who was talking to Conrad.

"Of course baby, anything for you." he smiled and my tummy fluttered with butterflies at being called "baby". I smiled back and spent the rest of the day playing video games and hanging out with two boys that would soon be like brothers to me.
