"(Y/N) (L/N), I'm sorry but I have bad news for you." The doctor said to me.
With the tone of the doctor's voice and the fact that he had his clipboard with him meant one thing...
...My time to live was limited.
I'm not stupid, I've been in this hospital for a long time now, even longer than my hospital neighbor and friend Kyosuke Kamijo. I figured it only be a matter of time when I was going to be told this, though I kinda hoped that I it wouldn't happen so soon.
"You only have one month to live, I'm sorry but there's nothing else we can do. Fortunately, your aloud to attend school school before then and it happens to be the same school that Sayaka Miki attends."
"Really?!" I said.
"Yes, and speaking of Miki, he's here to visit you and Kamijo. Don't worry, he doesn't know about your predicament."
As if it was on cue, Sayaka walked into the room and the doctor left the room.
"(Y/N), Kyosuke, I came to visit again!" Sayaka said.
Sayaka first gave Kyosuke a new classical music cd to listen to, even though Sayaka won't admit it I can tell he has a crush on her, I think it's sweet. Of course I won't be able to experience the same thing since I won't live for much longer.
After Sayaka finished taking to Kyosuke, he came over to me.
"Hey (Y/N), I got you the newest issue of (favorite manga)!" Sayaka said with a smile on his face.
"Thank you Sayaka. Guess what, the doctor said that I get to attend school with you!" I said.
"Really? That's great! I'll introduce you to Madoka and Hitomi!" Sayaka said.
"I can't wait to meet them!" I said.
Sayaka was telling me how I'll like it at his school. I think it might be best if I don't tell anyone about my current condition, so no one will worry.
Homura's POV:
(A bit earlier)
"Don't worry Madoka, I'll save you." I said before I turned back the time again.
As soon as I opened my eyes I was in the hospital bed again, I'll repeat the month as many times as I to.
For some reason something felt off...I couldn't tell what it was though.
At least, until I until I looked in the mirror.
I was no longer a girl, I'm a boy now?! Something must have happened when I traveled back in time. No matter, I'll still try to keep Kyubey from making a contract with anyone...
...Even if I have to do it as a boy.
