I really hoped that her boyfriend doesn't slam the table and grab my neck, anyhow, I started to listen to Yogita but as soon as I fixed my eyes in hers, my eyes reflexed on his guy's. I knew what Yogita was gonna talk about, Adnaan, ofcourse, why not, that guy hit on every girl in my circle and it went like this only. The interesting part was that Yogita didn't utter a word about what she has done with me in the past and she should really be sorry about it but before I could reply to Yogita, Sanika grabbed my wrist and pulled me as if we were getting for somewhere. So we left a quarter plate of chilly potato behind us and an abrupt conversation with Yogita, though I wanted to talk to her and don't care if this action made her feel bad, you just deserve this!
As we made around ten or twelve steps, I walked faster for a second sobas to keep pace with Sanika and her hand intentionally slipped from wrist in to my hand. I soon spotted Naisha and Adnaan talking about something, but by the action of their hands, it felt like it was more of an argument and Sanika wanted to get things clear with Adnaan. What was more interesting that I didn't spot Akash the complete day which really made me somewhat happy.
As we were a metre away from them, Sanika yelled, "you better freeze there, Adnaan." The look he made clearly stated that he wanted to avoid but at that moment, it was impossible for him to do so while Naisha was constantly staring my hand which was in Sanika's hand.
Sanika began first, "Garv told me everything, I guess its the perfect time for you to explain things", she left my hand and crossed her arms after saying that to which Naisha continued, "I guess, Adnaan is not gonna be the only one explaining stuff", while looking right into my eyes.
Finally, Adnaan started to speak, "oh please Garv, you always knew I was having some feelings for Avni, I neither told Avni nor you but you always asked me about the things which I do differently for Avni but I couldn't take on a rejection, you know what she said? "Think what Garv will say." You were hee excuse, you are the reason why I am here, what did you do, nothing, and that's the problem brother, you are always revolving around your stories, you never cared for mine, even when I told you about some other girl, you told me to chuck it up and contined to tell me what happened with you that day. You know what you are doing? Why not make it clear? We have Sanika here, Naisha aka my girlfriend and I can also spot Yogita with her boyfriend. But lemme ask first, how do you think now? Avni cared for your thinking this much and now I am asking the same question."
Sanika and Naisha Instantly forgot that we were confronting Adnaan here and poped their eyes on me as if I was the culprit.
My reply was short, basically I didn't know what was right to speak at that moment, "so, this is what brothers do?"
Adnaan answered, "No, when you were calling me since yesterday to burst your anger, is that what brothers do, believe on girls before asking me? When you were walking towards me this afternoon to punch me right in the face, is that what brothers do? But everything should be honest in love, or loves in your case, afterall love is all about honesty, isn't it but whose honesty are we talking about here? Yogita's? Yes, she was honest with you everytime, she asked you everytime to stay out of her life as she didn't wanna hurt you and will never be able to love back. Or Naisha's...", he pulled Naisha towards himself at this moment while when I tried to pull Sanika from her forearm so as to take an exit from this conversation, she pulled over as if she was taking serious interest in this.
He continued, "Naisha took you seriously, unlike Yogita, she also told you that loving you back will be a little tough as she had Akash too but you didn't notice that rather throwing you out of her life she continued her friendship with you and kept you and Akash together in her life without hurting any but you are the one who keeps on complaining about Akash. Naisha accepted me yesterday because she knew I was not in a mad love with her like you too, she needed somebody she could keep her shoulder and cry because she was tired of keeping you guys together in her life. Wait, or Sanika?"
Naisha's eyes were wet while Sanika glanced at me which a not so good look. I could've stopped him but it was too late and stopping him would not have helped.
He further continued, "the girl who loved you like anything, you kept on rejecting, avoiding her, escaping from conversations with her but she never moved on. This girl should've been your choice Garv, Yogita never deserved you and Naisha was not ready for you just yet. Sanika even took your name when I proposed her though I said that let's see your reaction and we'll split up in the evening but she DENIED. Or on the fourth side, your honesty? You said Yogita that you loved her like everything, she was the first and best one in your life, pretty cool. But later you told Naisha that you are serious about your love with her and not just for a relationship stating that Yogita was your not your love, rather doubt. Pretty honest? And Sanika, you were enough honest that you didn't fall a fake love with her but you might have told that you are already in love and she would have found someone better. Honestly, we are too young to talk about love but atleast if you even say something, you should keep up with your word. I am in no mood to fight with you or disrespect you but you should learn to stay honest and if you aren't, atleast stay with one. I have supported you everytime and will do the same in future, I have no intention to carry a quarrel for ages but not in this topic brother."
He ended and turned as he was leaving. He spoke too much, I looked down for a second and tried to walk after him but Naisha ran and held my shoudlers, she was able to stop me, her tears did the job of stopping me, she nodded and held my hand, rubbed it through her cheeks and said, "I'll miss this the most, if this is what you are like this with evry girl what you were with me, I doubt everyone wil take your 'I love you' seriously if you don't mean it."
As soon as I tilted my face towards Sanika, she hugged me and said, "you should have told me about Naisha and Yogita. I chose you even after you rejected me everytime, I would have done the same even after knowing about them but you hid it."
She pulled back and continued, "please don't stop me, I don't wanna shout at you Garv, love", she turned back and continued walking without even looking back once.
I stood their quiet atleast for ten minutes before one of my classmates, Nikhil, came to me and said, "took too much alcohol brother? If still in the mood, Yogita's guy just brought a couple of shots more."
"I never played, didn't want to hurt anybody, my mistake is that I tried to keep everyone in my life", I said.
He replied, "I have no idea what you are saying and I think you took much though Naisha told me a few months back that you have left this stuff, anyway, I can drop you home if you are not feeling fine."
Why the hell was he taking only their names? First Yogita, then Naisha. However, I knew my best option was to leave with him and did the same.
