Watching the interaction between Morgan and Chanyeol made my chest tighten. I bit my lip nervously when Chanyeol reached slowly between the small space between them, grabbing her hand in his much larger one. He traced her knuckles slowly, with such precision, as if to draw at all of her worries through the small action. Both of their faces were turned to mine, with such happy smiles, expectant.

"What?" I questioned, taking a deep pull from the sweet tea that I still clutched in my hands. The overly sweet drank made my tongue feel thick in my mouth, but I loved the taste so it didn't matter. Morgan shifted on the leather couch, the fabric making a squeaking noise under her as she moved a little closer to Chanyeol so their thighs were pressed together.

"Tell us how you met Kyungsoo," She mused, her light pink lips lifting up into a smirk. I sighed deeply and tilted my head from side to side slightly.

"You already know the story," I muttered around the straw that I bit between my teeth.

"So," she nudged my leg slightly with her toe. I cringed and swatted her sock clad foot, scooting away from her so I pressed myself against the arm of the couch. She couldn't reach me over here with her short legs, even if she tried hard enough. Which drew my attention to the fact that this was a rather large couch, taking up mostly one wall, leaving room for nothing more than a bedside table. "I want to hear it again."

I waved her off, looking at the opposing wall so as not to make eye contact. "No, no, no." I dropped my hand into my lap and glanced over at Morgan and Chanyeol once more. Morgan's head rested in his lap, and his fingers were slipping slowly through her black, silky strands. "Kyungsoo tells the story better than I can anyways." I offered her a smile, setting the styrofoam cup on the coffee table in front of me.

"Ah, Kyungsoo," Chanyeol played with my boyfriend's name, letting it roll from his tongue and fall from his lips in his deep voice. I shifted where I sat on the couch, tilting my head slightly from side-to-side. "Who is Kyungsoo?"

Morgan's plump, pink lips lifted into a smirk at the question. "It's Ronnie's boyfriend," She teased, nudging at my leg again with her foot. I shoved her foot away from me again, flinching in her direction. "I have yet to meet him." She raised her eyebrow suggestively and tilted her head so she could look at me better past her black rimmed glasses.

"You've been busy," I argued, feeling my bottom lip pout out slightly. She hadn't talked to me in weeks, and the last time she mentioned even seeing me was over a month ago. Today we got lucky. Today we had empty schedules. "And I've shown you pictures," I challenged.

Morgan rolled her eyes and quirked her lips up at the edges. "Pictures punk," She muttered under her breath. "It's not the same thing. Plus," she chimed after I had thought the conversation between us had drawn to a close, "You guys have been together for about 6 months or so." I shrugged simply, feeling my face heat up in embarrassment.

Silence fell between the three of, before Chanyeol seemed to straighten a little more in his place against the opposite side of the couch. "We aren't busy today?" Chanyeol chimed in, causing me to grit my teeth. "We could come over for dinner or something?" He suggested. I shot him a glare, gritted my jaw, before glancing down at Morgan. Her face was slack of emotion as she concentrated, thinking it over. She knew I couldn't cook, and I hadn't felt the need to tell her that Kyungsoo loved cooking, and I wasn't about to relay that information to her now. Chanyeol's long fingers let go of Morgan's hand, to trace gently at her cheek, as if to draw her from her thoughts and back to the future, back to us.

"Sure," Morgan murmured, as if she wasn't exactly sure she wanted to go or not. "Who's cooking?" I myself, fought the urge to smirk at her.

"Me," I mused, rising from my seat. My back popped slightly at the motion, and Morgan's mocha eyes widened, staring at me in terror as I moved towards the main entrance to gather my stuff.

"You're cooking?!" He cries of anguish followed me after I slipped my shoes on, pulling on my winter coat over the sweater I wore already.

"Yeah," I spoke loudly so she could hear over Chanyeol's loud laughter. "So I have to leave so I can get everything prepared." I slipped on my regular styled Timberlands, fixing my skinny jeans over them, before pulling my hood over my ears. Even though my face was exposed mostly, my ears were usually the first to get cold. "I'm out," I called out to the couple past my face mask and hood.

I shut out Morgan's objections and Chanyeol's laughter when I shut the door behind me.

I slipped inside the warmth of Soo's car, letting a breathy sigh into the cotton of my face mask. I flipped my hood back, pulled my mask off, but left my coat on. Kyungsoo was in a similar state of dress as I was. His face was tilted in my direction, his heart shaped lips pulled into a smile. He put his pale hand on the thing separating us,his palm facing towards the top of the car. I placed my hand into his and laced our fingers together. His fingers were slightly longer than mine, if only by a little.

"How did it go?" His voice was deep, not as deep in comparison to Chanyeol's. He tended to mumble, uttering words under his breath.

"It went okay," I sighed out, squeezing his hand gently in my much colder one. I watched his jaw work at the contrast in skin temperature, but his smile never fell from his plump lips. "Morgan has a new boyfriend," I mused, tilting my head back against the back of the passenger seat. Kyungsoo squeezed my hand once more, before letting go of my hand and placing it on the wheel. Safety first.

"Oh really?" His eyes flickered to me from the corner of his eye, before he looked at the road again. He managed to start the car without looking, repetition I suppose. He pulled away from the car slowly from the curb, checked to make sure no cars were coming in his direction, before easing into the road, easily speeding up to barely under the speed limit.

"Yeah." I pulled on my seat belt, before shifting and tucking my right foot under my left leg. "I can't remember how long she said they've been dating, but apparently," I struggled to keep my suppressed anger from spilling and tainting the words that left my lips, "he's the reason that she hasn't come around in awhile. She was busy moving him in."

"Moving him in?" Kyungsoo seemed generally interested in the information I was giving him, though his face remained slack and his wide, brown eyes remained trained on the road. "Already?"

"Soo," I scolded, looking at the side of his head, "you moved into my house like," I turned over the numbers and length of time that we had been together, "3 months into us dating."

Kyungsoo's pale face flushed and he took a deep breath in through his heart-shaped lips, before letting it out through his nose. "Oh well," he shrugged slightly and glanced at me after having stopped at a red stop light. "She didn't seem like the type of person to move that fast."

"I know," I muttered, tracing lazy circles onto my thigh. "I feel like they're moving too fast."

"That's not your call though." It was Kyungsoo's turn to scold me now, the edges of his lips lifting. I narrowed my eyes at the side of head. Kyungsoo's lis lifted into a full smile as he pressed the gas slowly, allowing the car to creep forward before speeding up as we moved under the street lights.

"Whatever," I huffed, crossing my arms over my chest and slumping against the passenger seat. We sat in silence for a few moments, before I remembered the whole reason for my rush home. "Oh yeah!" I chimed, straightening in my seat. Kyungsoo barely reacted, except for a droll eye roll. "Morgan and Chanyeol are coming over for dinner.
