I lowered myself on the curb beside Ronnie, the heels of my hands getting scratched by the small rocks and gravel scattered on it. I didn't drink any soju, but my head was reeling at the thought of Morgan being captured by Kyungsoo's camera. Part of me assumed it was an accident; I took random pictures of things sometimes. Or Ronnie could've easily mistook Morgan for someone else.

But the other part of me wasn't so sure. I had seen the way Kyungsoo gazed at Morgan while she bandaged his hand before. It wasn't a look you'd give to someone you didn't think anything of. I could feel my stomach clenching at the thought of it, but I ignored the feeling. I'd deal with him later.

"Aren't you going to go back inside?" Ronnie spoke slowly, as if every word she uttered sent her head reeling. "Baekhyun should be here any minute." She turned to me, forest green eyes tinged with red from the tears that were just there moments ago.

I frowned. He brother didn't look the strongest. He wouldn't be able to handle Ronnie—even though she had a smaller frame—let alone the drunk version of her. "I'll wait with you." I promised, "I can't leave you out here alone, can I?"

"But Morgan." She sighed, her breath smelled heavily of the alcohol she had just consumed and I turned away. Morgan. She was in there with Kyungsoo; no doubt embarrassed at what happened. I felt a twinge of guilt for leaving her in the restaurant alone, but she knew how to handle herself.

"Morgan is fine, don't worry." Ronnie seemed satisfied with this and rested her head on my arm, humming to herself. While we sat on the curbcars passing by in front of usmy mind kept wandering back to the pictures. I needed to know if they were true; whether she was right, or just drunkenly making accusations. "Ronnie."

No responce.

"Ronnie," I repeated, slightly moving my arm in an effort to get her attention. Still nothing. I looked down at her, expecting to see her asleep, but she was wide awake; just watching the cars as they moved past. "Hey." She stayed silent. "Are you okay?"

She exhaled. A gust of wind blew several wisps of her silver hair into her face, slightly covering her now solemn eyes. I felt myself entranced for a moment. Her voice was what snapped me out of it; half- slurred, half-steady.  "I don't understand why he would do something like that."  She looked up at me. "Am I..am I not pretty enough?" She was quiet; so quiet that it was hard to hear her voice. A huge difference from what she was only a few moments ago.

"Are you sure it was her?"

Ronnie rolled her eyes and chuckled bitterly. "I've known her for years, you dork. Much longer than you have." She added after thinking for a moment. "I know what she looks like." She suddenly eyed her purse strapped across her waist and opened it, searching for something. After a minute, she pulled her phone out along with a bunch of receipts and gum wrappers that scattered on the concrete. They blew away, but she ignored them, focusing instead on her phone; now opened to her camera roll.

"Here, look." She urged, shoving the phone into my hands. "Tell me what you see." I didn't see what me going through her photos would prove, but I obliged her, flipping through dozens and dozens of pictures; some of her students, some with her brother, and others of animals (dogs, mostly). A majority of the photos were of Kyungsoo. Candid pictures of him working, cooking, the occasional photo of him smiling, but most were him with his back turned, taking pictures of other things. Things that weren't Ronnie.

"Your boyfriend."

Another bitter laugh escaped from her lips. "My boyfriend," she repeated sarcastically. "My boyfriend who, in the entire time we were in Barcelona never once took a picture with me or of me." She snatched her phone from my hands. "Believe me, I have never  seen myself in his camera roll. And yet, he takes a picture of your girlfriend." Ronnie stoodor tried to standbut stumbled and she held onto my shoulder to steady herself. "Fucking asshole hasn't even come out to check on me. Probably too busy staring at Morgan."
