#42 Bad dream

You woke up screaming, your body shaking in terror. Salty tears poured down your face like a hurricane and you sobbed. You pulled your knees up to your chest, letting out all of your cries loudly.

Suddenly, you felt someone wrap their warm arms around you and you were pulled into your boyfriend Newts body. You collapsed into his arms sobbed. You gripped onto his shirt with your nails and your tears soaked his shirt.

Though he didn't care. He held you there and he rubbed your back. "shh... shh.. its okay. I'm here" He said kissing your head and holding you as close to him as possible.

You couldn't speak through the amount of terror that ran through your veins. Your body shook violently and your eyes were puffy and red.

"I-it wa-was hor-horrible" You spit the words out through your shaky lips and sobbed out again.

"I know I know.." He mumbled into your hair and turned you so that you faced him, he pulled you into an even tighter hug and dug his face into the crook of your neck.

You wrapped your arms around his neck and pulled yourself closer to him, crying into his shoulder. You ran one of your hands up to his head and gripped his hair, Not so hard that it hurt but just hard enough it explained your mental pain.

"do-don't lea-leave me- ple-please" You stuttered, still crying but slowly starting to calm down.

"Never.." He mumbled into your skin.

"Prom-Promise?" You pulled away slightly, looking at him. You had a frown placed across your face and your eyes were red and puffy from crying.

He nodded, searching your eyes then pull you closer to him again. He kissed the corner of your mouth softly and hugged you tightly. "I promise.."
