Just One Look

It's A.......

Chelsea's POV:

I woke up out of a deep sleep and felt Teuvo's arms wrapped around waist and one of his hands is rubbing my belly. Ever since I told him I was pregnant, he has been rubbing my belly. It just has become a habit for him. I had spent the night at Teuvo's condo last night because Artemi and Nicole wanted a night by themselves at our apartment.  That was fine by me because Teuvo treated to me to do a spa day and then got some Chinese take out from the Happy Wok near his condo. The spa day that Teuvo planned for us was the sweetest thing anyone has done for me, and I have had plenty of sweet things happen to me. We both got a couple's full body massage which Teuvo liked because he was extremely sore and bruised from playing hockey and I enjoyed because I was so sore from carrying around our son/daughter. Anyway, I roll over and see Teuvo just peacefully sleeping next to me. All of a sudden, I feel a wave a nausea come over me and I run like a track star to the bathroom. I started throwing up the entire contents of my stomach. I feel my hair getting tied up into a messy bun and someone start rubbing my back.

"It's ok baby." I hear Teuvo say softly

"Teuvo go back to bed. I can take care of this. I am only going to be doing it for another 4.5 months till our baby is born." I say pushing him away from him. I feel terrible that I kept waking him up in the middle of the night and this morning. Whenever I did, he would get up with me and stay until I was finished. He's a trooper.

"No babe, it's ok. I have to take care of both my babies." Teuvo says with his Finnish accent sound super raspy from just getting up. He kisses me on the top of the head.

"You are so too sweet babe. How did I get so damn lucky to have you as my boyfriend and the father of my child. I think we should start getting ready for the day. We finally get to find out the gender of our future hockey. Are you excited?" I say as Teuvo helps me get back to my feet and gives me a big hug.

"Yes, I'm excited baby but I'm more excited when we finally meet our child. He/she is going to be so beautiful especially if it looks like their mama." Teuvo says smiling while he rubs my belly again. He leaves the room and I then hop into the shower. I wash my hair and body. I stand in the shower and cradle my baby bump while thinking about what the gender of our baby. I really hope it's a girl but Teuvo hopes it is a boy so he can have a son to pass the hockey puck with. I hop out of the shower and put on some jeggings, a navy and green striped top, some navy vans, and a navy knit beanie. I left my hair naturally curly and put on a minimal  amount of makeup. I walk down stairs to the living room and see Teuvo sitting on the couch, playing with his phone.

"Ready to go babe?" I ask Teuvo as he gets off the couch and grabs his car keys.

"Yes my love." Teuvo says as he grabs my hand and we walk to the car. He then drives off down the highway to the doctors appointment.

"Teuvo what do you hope the baby is going to be?" I ask while putting my hand on Teuvo's knee and he then grabs my hand.

"Chelsea, I honestly don't care what the gender of our child is. All I hope and pray for is the baby to be healthy and have all fingers and toes." Teuvo says bringing my hand up and kissing it.

About fifteen minutes later we arrive at the doctors. We sit in the waiting room for a few minutes and hear the doctor calling us to come back. I hop onto the table and lift up my shirt and the doctor puts the cold gel on my stomach. The doctor moves around the wand around your stomach and then stops for a couple moments.

"I've noticed something that wasn't here before at your last ultrasound." The doctors says with an expressionless look on her face. Teuvo and I just look at each other

"Is our baby a mutant?" Teuvo asks and I just give him an "Are you stupid" look.

"No. Did you know you guys are expecting twins?" The doctor says with a smile and starts to laugh. I look over at Teuvo and he looks like he has seen a damn ghost. I am too shocked at the moment to know how to react to the news.

"Twins? Are you sure doctor? Are you sure your not pulling our chain?" I say and the doctor shakes her head no.

"Look up here. Baby one must have been hidden behind baby two at the last ultrasound." The doctor says and Teuvo and I look at the screen. Sure enough, you could distinctly see two babies.

"Oh my God. Twins. We are going to be the proud parents of twins." Teuvo says kissing me on the lips.

"Would you like to know the genders?" The doctor says moving the wand around some more.

"Yes!" We both say in unison

"Well.............It looks like you are having a.........boy and it also looks like you are having a..........girl." The doctor says smiling from ear to ear. I turn to Teuvo and see he has tears streaming down his face. I start crying tears of joy.

"This is the best day of my life." Teuvo says and rubs and kisses my belly.

"I'll  let you guys have a few minutes to yourselves, so you can take in all this great news. Congratulations to you two!" The doctor said cheerfully and hugs both of us while on her way out of the room.

"I can't believe we are having twins. When I thought one baby was amazing enough, two babies are even more amazing. I can't wait to be a father. They will forever be my little buddies." Teuvo says wiping the tears away from his cheeks.

"I'm so excited Teuvo. You will be an amazing father. I am so happy you are the one who is the father of my children. I couldn't have asked for a better boyfriend and lover to go through this milestone in life with." I said wiping the happy tears away from my face.

"You will be an amazing mother, Chelsea. You are patient, loving, smart, beautiful, funny, kind, and angelic.... basically everything I have ever wanted in a girlfriend, lover, and the mother of my children. You and the babies are my everything. Till the day I draw my last breath, I will love you all ad make sure you guys are taken care of. Even after I'm gone, I will still love you all. You three are my world." Teuvo says as he lovingly looks in my eyes. I start crying again......Damn you pregnancy hormones.

"Teuvo you are going to make me cry. You are the kindest, sweetest, most handsome, funniest, most beautiful soul, I'm so blessed to have you in my life." I say kissing his hand.

"What do you want to name our babies?" Teuvo asks

"I really like Matias Henri for a boy because he is named after his wonderful daddy  and Stella Luna for a girl. Stella Luna has a really pretty ring to it." I say as Teuvo nods in approval.

" Matias Henri Teravainen and Stella Luna Teravainen. I really love the sound of those names. Good choices baby." Teuvo says

"I guess that is settled. I love you so much babies." I say looking adoringly at my bump and the at Teuvo.

"I love you guys so much too. Nothing will ever stop that." Teuvo say kissing my bump and then my lips.
