Chapter 21

Vikk's pov

So I'm sitting in the kitchen waiting for Mason so I can take her to school for the day. School for her isn't bad from what she told me. No bullies, decent classes, and new friends. Which is great and if she does get bullied, haha has that kid made a bad choice.

Mason walks down the stairs and says we can go. I grab a bag of her lunch and a granola bar and toss it to her.

"Thanks Vikk."

"No problem kiddo."

We got in to the car and started to talk about random things like ranks in CS:GO and how bad I am at the game or a better topic which is better polar bears or pandas. I don't know how we got on that topic, but it was a fun chat. These car rides seem shorter than they actually are which kinda sucks considering how much fun it is to talk to Mason and get to know her more but it's better than nothing. Right? Anyway we are at the school Mason left but not before giving me a hug and disappeared within the crowd of other students.

Mason's pov

As I walk in the school I already see Tyler, Matthew, Brock, and Craig (the few from the lunch table) standing around the hallway waiting for class to start. I join them and Tyler says quietly "I'm sorry" and leaves. I didn't know what he meant at first but then Matthew got up and pushed me to the ground. Brock and Craig get up as well but Brock is pulling me up so Matthew can slap my face while Craig is searching through my bag for money or food I guess. Craig took my lunch that Vikk packed for me and my £20 note I keep for emergency. Brock pushed me to the ground and I have a confused face. What just happened we all got along so well and now they're bullies?

"We'll be taking those and don't expect anything else from us again Mason." Matthew said in a flat tone and walking away with Craig and Brock.

I slowly get up and walk to class I have Matthew and Brock in this class and to top it off I sit between them. Yay. Note the sarcasm. I can't wait for gym class to get some answers from Tyler. He knew this was coming and yet he did nothing to stop it.

The bell rung, Brock and Matthew took their seats next to me. I took out my fodder for this class and took out my homework only to get it snatched it from my hands by Brock.

"I'm going to need to see that for a bit."

"Same Brock hand it over before giving it back."

This is going to be a long day...

   ~le time skip to gym class~

I see Tyler walking to class like nothing happened. I run to catch up with him.

"What the hell happened this morning! You knew what was coming for me and you didn't try to stop it!" I yelled I didn't care if other students heard I need answers.

"Here isn't a good place to talk, they could hear but why don't I come over yours and talk about it. There you can beat me up as much as your hearts content."

"Honestly I don't know if I would be beating you up if we went to mines. My "dad" and friends will beat you and them."

"If a beat is what it will take to heal our friendship then I would take it. I tried to stop them but they wouldn't budge."

"Fine but we aren't done talking about this Tyler."

"I know. Send me your address later ok? I'll head over when I can."

I nodded and participated in class instead of just talking. I hope the guys at home don't beat him up.
