[A/N] Why do I keep writing so many Iwaizumi x Readers? I have no idea.

Warnings: The language is a little worse here than in my usual fics.

Also, kids, don't do this in real life. Don't meet someone you know from the internet so easily! It's not safe! ^^;

Haj_ime: (Name).

Haj_ime: Hellooooo?

TheStarsCollide: Iwaizumi, wtf.

Haj_ime: Join my server. It's called "NiceKnights". Password: FightRight.

TheStarsCollide: That's honestly the dorkiest name I've ever heard.

Haj_ime: Come on, the boss battle is about to start.

Haj_ime: N00b.

TheStarsCollide: THAT'S IT. I'M COMING, YOU ASS.

For a few months, you had been chatting with someone online, Iwaizumi Hajime. He played the same MMORPG you did, and he was boss at it. He was a swordsman, and the regalia his character wore solely boosted his defense. His attack was weaker than your internet connection, but his defense was so strong, he was known as the 'Wall of Steel' on every server.

You were an archer. You loved nabbing at opponents from every angle. You craved the high mobility, speeding your character across the map, slaying enemies as Iwaizumi followed close behind. In his party, you were his most valuable member. For some reason, your attacks and his defense meshed so well, so whole, the rest of the part members looked up to you two for every victory.

It was all fun and games (aka lack of sun and eye strains), until Iwaizumi decided to try a new voice chat feature.

You may or may not have told him that you were male...

And this situation had you pressed for options.

You began avoiding him every time he logged on. You had to change your whole playing schedule so that you went online every time he went offline. Sometimes he lingered longer, waiting for you, which worked. Immediately, he opened the chat, and you fled like hell.

Some days, you were forced to not play at all.

In due time, your rank spiraled downwards, from the top 2,000 in your country to the top 5,000. You weren't exactly pro, but it killed time, and you enjoyed basking in the glory of your perfect teamwork with Iwaizumi.

After nearly a month of not speaking, you relented.

Haj_ime: What's wrong?? If you don't want to voice chat, just say it. Are you a 10-year-old??

Haj_ime: I'm serious, it's okay. I just want to play with you by my side again.

Haj_ime: But it'd be cool if we could.

TheStarsCollide: OK. Let's voice chat, then.

Haj_ime: For real, man?

TheStarsCollide: Yep.
